Talking about the women! Did they achieve their expectations this year? What does their incoming recruiting class look like? With their new facilities and on-campus arena my expectations for the woman's team will go up tremendously. I expect them to challenge for league championships. This also goes for the other programs that get to use the upgraded facilities and play in them! With the investment made we should also have bigger expectations for the sports department overall.

Has our AD announced any planned press release or state of the program type event regarding how he plans to build up the overall sports program and expectations. I know he said he will wait until the sports seasons are over to evaluate the coaches but I'm hoping he showcases his blueprint for the department.

Bradley's womens program has no where near the history or prestige as the men's. And the MVC isn't a top HALF conference in women's basketball. So the standards for success need to be altered. I'm not saying we should be proud per se, but definitely not ashamed.

Yeah the MVC got no love. UNI won the conference tournament and got the automatic bid and received a 16 seed in the women's tournament. They drew Nebraska.

Make no mistake, the MVC is NOT a good women's conference... INSU had several teams rack up huge win totals a few years back and still didn't get any nation-wide respect (and given their postseason performance, it was rightfully so)
