The Dante Medder ACL injury in the 1st half against UTEP in the CUSA semis makes it very unlikely that Tulsa even beats Kent State, especially on the road. Tulsa is now down to about 7 players who play, and only 3 of them even look to score.

GO SEAWOLVES!Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Well, we know at least one team will have a guaranteed sellout this week! Good for Stonybrook! I hope they make the most of their chance.

Originally posted by Bravesfan View PostYeah right, UNC a 4 seed?! I guess it pays to play in a conference where you get rewarded with an NIT home game after losing 10 out of 12 games! My guess is that UNC will draw more than other teams. Therefore the attendance factor obviously still dictates seeding no matter what nonsense the NIT committee tries to feed us! At least the CBI and CIT committees are honest when it comes to that fact.

And UNC will be lucky to fill 50% of the Dean Dome for that game. Carolina fans have no patience for mediocrity.

I read that the reason the U of I couldn't host a first round game was that Circa de Solle has Assembly Hall booked for either possible first round date and they can't play at Huff because of renovations. Don't know if other alternate sites were discussed.

It is just sickening how much influence ESPN has over College Basketball. NCAA/NIT you are no different then a $20 street H****r.
