Overall easier than usual to pick the final few NCAA teams...only the final at-large team seems to be in doubt. However, it appears much tougher than usual to project the NIT teams this season.

It may not happen due to New Mexico winning the regular season, but I think BYU's overall profile is slightly better than New Mexico's.

Wow! You got Illinois as one of your last eight out. That's a good possibility though. I got Mississippi St. in now for their performance this weekend, showing they can play with anyone in the country. However, it's up to the selection committee if they feel they can win several games in the tournament, or if this was more of a fluke on whether they will make it in. Plus their weak resume won't help them either, but I have that feeling they will be in.

64 of 65 again this year in the NCAA...I had Virginia Tech instead of Florida. Knew it was close between Va. Tech/Miss. St./Florida as I discussed in the other thread. But apparently not as close as I thought since Florida got a 10 seed.

I edited the NIT picks to replace Lipscomb with Jacksonville. Even though Lipscomb was the #1 seed in the conference tourney, apparently Jacksonville gets the automatic NIT bid...not sure why that is...

Missed 3 in the NIT...I had St. Louis, Marshall, and VCU instead of North Carolina State, St. John's, and Illinois State.

UNC and UConn don't even deserve to be in the NIT.
                Onward and Upward!

UConn I can see. UNC, no way!
