  • Turner shot should not have counted

IF you watch the replay, Turner got 2.5 steps before the clock started.

He released it with 0.3 left, but had the clock started on time, Michigan would have won.

Hey, isn't bi-forum crossposting a violation of some sort of internet code(?)

    This thread is being investigated.

Michigan deserved to lose for being so bad.

    IL's win smells funny, too.

As a 1/2) Bradley Men's and Women's basketball fan and 3) a Michigan Wolverine fan, yeah maybe it shouldn't have counted, but Michigan didn't exactly have a fantastic season this year so I'm okay with how this finished off. It was kinda deserving finish for the way they played all season. This team probably should've been a lot better but for whatever reason they weren't so I am not too upset over this game. OSU also seemed to play horribly. In all honestly U of M shouldn't have been in this game.

Why was the OH State coach so mad soon after Turner hit that shot? The refs had to hold him back from approaching the media table.

Also, i'm not really thrilled with these BCS tourneys, it's almost like the top teams are trying to go easy to help out the middle of the pack bubble teams in their conference. Sort of how a pro team takes it easy the last week of the season before the playoffs start. It's all good though, the big dance starts in 6.5 days.

I think the Big Ten hired the same clock operator that did the Creighton-Wichita State game in last year's MVC Tournament.

I thought Thad was pumped up? Was he talking **** because of something Michigan did earlier?

It wouldn't matter who won the game....Illinois will advance Although Michigan would have been easier I am assuming.

I am 51 percent Bradley and 49 percent Illinois.....(so i root for Bradley when they square up)

a Big Ten Tournament without Evan Turner is like an NCAA Tournament without UConn and UCLA...
or a Hawiian Rainbow Classic without their #1 ranked team - (like San Francisco in 1981)
or an NCAA final in Madison Square Garden where a team from Peoria is about to beat a team from New York...
.........so the powers that be will always find a way......

Great shot but Michigan played some terrible D on that. How do you give a guy so much space to dribble and shoot? How do you not put a guy from the start on Turner? Everyone in America knew he was going to get the ball! Michigan deserved that loss if only because they defensed that last play worst then anything I have ever seen.

Yeah he had 50 feet from him and the closest defender when he got the ball. He obviously has not enough time to pass. Whatever Michigan.
