The bids, they being poached fast. The MAC is going to be responsible for poached bid #8 tonight.

I wonder if the Redbirds know something we don't. I figured if their season was to continue then they'd be on campus staying ready for the NIT or whatever they end up playing in. However, a source told me tonight about a Lloyd Phillips and Osiris Eldridge sighting at the wonderful Par-a-dice Hotel and Casino. And no I wasn't there, that would be a violation of the Bradley Standards of Conduct

I can confirm that OE has been seen a couple times on the Par-A-Dice.

"Jankovich said the Redbirds probably would accept an invitation to the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) or the Collegeinsider.com Tournament (CIT)"

"Osiris Eldridge's right wrist ...is still sore"

It's from too much of his training regimen...

Kind of strange to hear that ISU (RPI of 73) is on the NIT bubble and that U of I (RPI f 74) is on the NCAA bubble.
Can't see ISU not making the NIT, but it would be a nice wake-up call for them to schedule better than Cal Polytech or whatever that institute is.

I hate ISU but I don't see any way that they don't get an NIT bid. For cryin' out loud, they took the top team in the Valley and a top 25 team to the wire on the road.

I really do not care for cryin' out loud! ISU will sleep in the bed they made for themselves. Who did they beat? I'm not saying they are not good but when you do not step up, to even the basic rules, of what makes a decent resume, then why should you even be considered. It is almost like an Art major going after an engineering job.

Bradley twice once by twenty. Fun Times.

The question still has not been answered. If we are one of their marquee wins, they are in trouble.

I as a Valley fan definitely want to see them make the NIT. But part of me won't be that upset if they don't, if for no other reason than to serve as wake up call to them and to all teams in the Valley that scheduling down is unacceptable.

Wake up call? What do you call last year? What's that old saying, "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." When you play at a mid-major like it or not there is not a lot of room to make mistakes and when you draw up a poor schedule well you see what is happening to ISU.
