I agree with everything but your last line. Wasn't he going head to head daily in practice with Singh, Thompson, and Egolf? If so, he should be ready..... He should be nearly as experienced as a sophomore (without the all-important "game" experience).

Seriously, the comparison to Thompson is not likely even fair to Prosser. I have no clue about Prossers attitude but I do about Thompsons from his ever negative attitude tweets. Thompson has skill but his heart and mind do not appear to be inline with a person who likes where they are or even wants to be where they are.

Two people like Thompson and Brown on the same team with similar outlooks can be very difficult in a locker room.

I have a feeling there is a huge difference mentally between those two people.

JP is a beast in NCAA '10 if that means anything.

I have no Bballers in my classes...and rarely see them in Olin hall except for Ned who is in a chem class with me.

I think I have only seen him (JP) once. Leaving Haussler.

I am sure he is fine....always nice to have "home"...a short distance away.
What? When is the last time you went up and talked to them? Why do you expect them to be different? Basketball is their social group, of course thats who their going to interact with. I don't walk by and strike up a conversation with anyone who walks by. In my experience the basketball players are very similar to the general population, some are shy, some are outgoing, some are arrogant, but in general, if you talk to them, they'll be perfectly polite.

At the beginning of the year he was, but then they lowered his rating....Pretty much the only thing they've edited on BU's roster.

JP probably won't start unless something happens to WE (which none of us want that) but will fill the roll SS did this year but will be much better as he has better hands and can jump better. If JP continues to have a knack for the ball like he did in HS he will help out w/ rebounding which is something we desperately need help with.
He hustles and will be a deffinate help for our inside game next year.

You summed it pretty well! My experience while at BU and being around other college players is if you talk hoops and girls they are just like anyone else but better input regarding hoops and maybe a few more good stories regarding girls.

I talked to quite a few of them every once in awhile....as they know me and i know them.

What I mean is....I never see them walking or hanging with non-basketball players around campus. They are either walking alone or with another player. And it is understandable as they live and are around their teammates 90 percent of the time. They just seem to stay well inside that social bubble.

And yes they will definitely talk be polite to anyone.

Athletes hangout with athletes, it was that way in high school and in college because they have something in common to talk about, our players are easy to talk to .

The only thing I will say about JP is even IF all of the returning players decide to stay and no one transfers out...

IF JP can not crack into a top spot in the frontcourt or even the starting lineup, then he's not half as good a player as I believe he is.

JP will be fine. He's a big, strong, talented, and smart player. I would worry more about finding him and Will some help for next year since it's obvious they don't plan on Thompson being part of their plans.

Would LOVE for JP and Will to be on the floor at the SAME TIME...

I know its extremely wishful thinking though...

I think JP will be fine and have a productive freshman year! Can't wait to get him on the court.....but I was saying that this past season also!
