I'm curious what everyone thinks Prosser's role will be next season...... especially the "insiders" who may have seen him practice or gotten first hand reports.

Jordon Prosser -- What will his role be in 2010-11
56He will be a starter and become MVC NOY14.29%8He will play a big role off the bench but won't be a "difference maker"62.50%35He will be a lot like Anthony Thompson and only give us 5 mpg19.64%11He will transfer to ISU or another BU rival to seek revenge for having to redshirt3.57%2Tags: None

I think he'll come off the bench but could be a "difference maker" like DSE was this year. I would guess he sees time at the 5 in emergency situations and spells TB at the 4. I just don't think MK is physical enough to play the 4 especially on D he just couldn't match up with guys."How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? I would like to pick between options 1 and 2. He will come off the bench AND be a difference maker, but probably won't start. Besides JW will be newcomer of the year.
From what I have heard he is really good and I hope he is a difference maker right away. He sounds like he could be a back to the basket guy like we need at least at the 4 position. I haven't seen him play enough (other than videos or warmups) to cast an accurate vote though, but from what I've read on here and heard it would be between options 1 and 2 with a very strong future as well. What little I've seen has been impressive too. I have high expectations for his Braves career.

I was hoping one of the students would fill us in a bit of how he's adjusted to the BU as a student. We have not heard about how he has done in practice and that hardly is not surprise but as a guy on campus let's get some input. BU is not that big and I bet that a 6'9" guy is hard to miss."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

I have no Bballers in my classes...and rarely see them in Olin hall except for Ned who is in a chem class with me.
I think I have only seen him (JP) once. Leaving Haussler.
I am sure he is fine....always nice to have "home"...a short distance away.

oh idk about that...some of the nicest ones are AW, DD, and CR. If you walk by DD and he doesn't say hi to you first then you were just staring at the ground the whole time...truly a model-person. AW was very nice to me once but ironically it was while he was also talking to a girl haha. Those 3 guys I know for sure are excellent people.
I'm sure there are others that are good guys I just wouldn't know that much...and I'm not a fan of cockiness so I have my doubts on if I'd actually like some of them as friends. Living by some of them and seeing them interact has made me wonder occasionally. I'm sure they are good people too but they are going to act differently around fans of the program compared to a fellow student at a party/bar.

I have a separate question....can anyone name a single team in the MVC who does NOT use their big man 25 feet from the basket setting screens.....even maybe just one MVC school that does it any less than Bradley does....?
the answer is none of the above...they all do it...and so do almost all the BCS teams...so what is the issue here??
The way the Valley is reffed, many of the conference's big men pick up way too many fouls in the paint to spend much time there....
15 of the top 20 players in the Valley in fouls/gm are the BIG MEN of the MVC!!!
-in order, they are...
Booker
Egolf
Van Deest
Haarsma
Fay
Weems
Odiakosa
Bouchie
Templeton
Durley
Teague
Creekmore
Crawford
Stutz
Nick Evans
-- the rest of ther Valley big men are all just ouside the Top 20 like Eglseder, Vantongeren, Carmichael, O'Rear, etc....
the only guys among the top 20 who are NOT big men, simply pick up enough fouls to make this list because they all play 34-35 minutes per game..and are among the players who play the most minutes.
So what does that say....?
That it is NOT a Bradley thing that is tough on BIG MEN...it is a Missouri Valley refereeing thing!!
This is precisely what I have been saying for yerars....that the way the refs patrol the paint and whistle the big men is what costs the Valley from getting good big men...

It depends if we sign a 5 this Spring. If we get a 5, I think JP will at least come off the bench and provide significant help next year! If we do not sign a 5, I see JP starting and contributing next year!Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

Jordan Prosser has a huge upside to him, he will not be another A.T. because he has better skills, how much he helps next year will depend a lot on who BU brings in this spring , remember he sat out this season so it will take him awhile to adjust to college ball but I believe he will be a good player for us.
