Besides the many who said Jim Les would be gone (not likely), it was stated by one frequent poster that Bradley would come after Wayne McClain. That is not going to happen.

Another poster stated that Jim Les' future rests on whether John Wilkins comes to Bradley. That's a joke. Wilkins is just a recruit, like every other kid Jim Les recruits.

One poster suggests the new President will be quick to fire Jim Les.
Another poster made that ridiculous statement about Caterpillar insisting Bradley hire Jim Les, when, regardless of what conspiracy you choose to believe, Caterpillar had absolutely nothing to do with it.

There were a number of other completely erroneous statements, about Peoria producing D1 talent regularly, Jankovich winning 20 games putting pressure on Jim Les, Bradley's average crowds being 5,000-6,000 fans, and other equally silly things.

After this year yes. BU split with ISU the other years under Jankovich, and had a few sweeps of ISU during Porters years there.

Da Coach - I think some of the opinions you rebutted were pretty valid. Why wouldn't Les feel pressure if our biggest rival was doing better than us? Or beating us consistently? Most of the knowledgable ppl on that board agreed with you though. Just a few posters on there that are not familiar with BU's program.

I was only pointing out that they were all in agreement that bradley should reevaluate JL and his accomplishments.

Hahaha wow I'm in shock of their ignorance. Why even pretend to talk about something you obviously have no knowledge on at all? 90% of everything there is either completely wrong, doesn't make sense, or is just overall ignorant. It is hilarious they consider themselves knowledgeable. There are a couple knowledgeable posts, but beyond that not much.

I found that most of the discussion was a one way or at best a two way discussion. I also found it pretty funny that an Illini board and Illini fans would really discuss JL and BU in such detail.
