Glad to finally get an answer about TB. I know that injury can be painful...........

And I thought it was simply because our coach chose not to play one of our best players in the 2nd half of a must-win game!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

To me, this seals the reason for no post season. We need a healthy, productive off season. TB needs rest. SM needs rest. SS does not need to tear up his knees any more....

but many of the playing time decisions are made with the coach having certain knowledge that we as fans DO NOT have...
which is all the reason more that we might temper all the criticism from the peanut gallery.

... and really, we have been lucky this year in regards to the injury bug. There is no reason to keep playing and further tempt fate.
we need a healthy off season to improve, not rehabing to get back to where we are now.

                  We have?
                  Dodie? DSE? SM's nagging ankle?

Those injuries did not change the starting lineup like last year (lost 2 starters), or cause a 1-9 slump like JC's hand or G's injury...

in comparison to past years, the injuries did not seem as terrible, and seemed more in line to a typical D1 team...

If Dodie hadn't gone down, and we just had to deal with Sammy's ankle and DSE for a month... I'd agree. But Dodie was a starter... just because we had depth there doesn't mean it wasn't a big loss!

he has also written two recent articles praising Creighton and droning on and on about how we need to be more like them...
but oddly, the Creighton people are going overboard lobbying for a bid to the CBI or CIT, and their press and fans are enthusiastically backing them...
So now we need to different than Creighton?

they are even talking ticket allowments and assignments...

                          also --
"CIT (and their chair Riley Wallace)...- they appear to want Creighton for their tournament."

... yes, we are different than Creighton. If we had 2 NCAA's and 2 NIT's in the past 4 years, I would not at all mind a CBI or NIT this year. But, 1 NCAA, 1 NIT then a CBI, CIT, I just think another CBI/CIT is too much in any 5 year cycle...

If our on campus arena could host games, I might be more open to the idea. I just think PCC costs are not the right thing for us right now in this economy..

Bradley has two NCAA wins in that interval, and Creighton has ZERO...
In fact they have only 1 NCAA win in the past 11 years (2002)...and more player turmoil that we have....I am not so sure we wanna be just like them...
