  • Why I think Bradley will win Arch Madness

Please pardon the interruption for a positive post

    The Braves are good.

They played with abandon yesterday. While several players struggled, the team rallied behind good across the board support.

The chip on the shoulder. Maniscalco made a statement yesterday.

Big opportunity for Jim to quiet his critics, take all the disappointments in you and your players careers. The frustrations of being close but just not being able to get over the hump. Now is the moment to seize.

Bradley was getting slaughtered on the boards early, but ending up evening the total at 36-all. You have to attack the boards after the shots.

If Bradley shoots well today, it would seem to indicate that they are streaking in the right direction this weekend. Sometimes that's all it takes.

Bradley needs to get out and run today. UNI doesn't have the depth or endurance to play consecutive days against a faster tempo. Last year that got us into trouble, but we didn't have the athleticism of Warren or Egolf in last year's semi.

Tomorrow will take care of itself. But I think yesterday was a very encouraging sign for the rest of the weekend.

Thank you, and now back to hating

Bradley has the most talented starting 5 in The Valley, IMO. When they play their game they cannot be beaten.

If this season has taught us anything it is that we should take things one game at a time!
      Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Squirrel I like the way you think
One thing you forgot, MO. Right now we have tremendous Mo, but Mo is fickel. Hopefully we keep our friend Mo for 80 more minutes and then into "The Dance."
