26-4 Cornell already punched its ticket to da big dance by winning the Ivy League Conference this evening. They punched in a record 20 threes tonight, YIKES. They could be a cinderella this season with that kind of perimeter shooting.

First of all, Mercer is hosting the Tourney. Mercer is located in Macon, Georgia.

The #1 seed Lipscomb lost in the 1st round to #8 seed Kennesaw St. The #5 E Tenn St upset the #4 Campbell and then beat #8 Kennesaw.

The #2 Jacksonville beat #7 N Florida but then lost to #6 Mercer (who had beaten #3 Belmont earlier this week).

So the host team, #6 Mercer, is licking it's chops over facing the #5 E Tenn St which they have swept this season 83-78 at home and 82-77 on the road.

Meanwhile - Lipscomb became the 1st team into the NIT Automatically.

-#3 seed Winthrop takes the Big South at 19-13
-#5 seed E. Tenn St takes the A-Sun at 20-14

-#1 Murray St currently up by 7 over #2 Morehead St with 7 minutes left. Both teams barely shooting 30% the whole game. Score is 40-33 right now LOL.

might be but how would we know...?
Their league is 23rd in ranking...
and Cornell played the 198th strongest Strength of Schedule, and had an endless number of 200+ RPI opponents...
the only opponents they had better than RPI 75 they lost to and the top quality win they had was St. John's who finished at the bottom of the Big East..
They might be a in a little over their head when they finally meet up with a good team.
