  • st louis ticket info?

Gonna head down with the family in the AM....and I have a question.

Is it true its easy to find people scalping tickets for under face value? I was gonna try to use the purina discounts, but that means seats way up in the upper bowl. Was wondering the best way to go?

    thanks for the info

From my experience....it is easier as the weekend goes on. Tickets will be available for the Friday sessions but I think you will have a hard time finding them for below face value. As teams lose and their fans head home, tickets are easier to come by and you can probably get a deal. Sunday's championship game is usually very easy to get cheap tickets to. (Last year you could of went for free as we had many tickets offered to us at no cost) Hope this helps. Good luck!

There will be some tickets under face value, but they are going to be low-demand tickets, like upper bowl, and end zone. Expect to pay face value or a little higher for good side-court tickets.

As was mentioned, when teams get eliminated, and fans leave town early, sometimes more tickets become available.

There have always been plenty of ticket-sellers in the vicinity of the Scottrade Center every year, and with lots of tickets for sale.

One caution- I have heard of people buying tickets that were bogus!
Be sure to examine the ticket you are buying carefully, and make sure it is for the correct session and date. Bradley's game is in Session 2, with the date of March 5, 2010.

Some unscrupulous ticket scalpers may try to sell you leftover tickets from Thursday night's Session 1 or other previous sessions, or even tickets from last year's games, and at first look they may appear to be legit.
Also, if you buy more than 1 ticket, do not assume the tickets you are buying are together. I have heard of sellers trying to sell a group of 4 tickets they said were together, but only the top ticket was for the section and row that was advertised, the others were scattered all over the arena in less desirable sections.
Again, the best advice is to examine each ticket carefully. If the seller is reluctant to allow you to do this, tell him no thanks! Buyer beware!

It's always intersting scalping tickets. You can get some really cheap seats sometimes at great locations because of all the corporate giveaway seats. There's a lot of variables that go into it and I don't think you'll get much of a deal with the family in tow.

I almost got caught in the session 1/session 2 issue. I took three steps away before i realized.....They fixed it but I bet 5 minutes later I would have been dead.

REMEMBER: Buying tickets at face value or below is not illegal. If you get wronged, find a Metro Cop, or threaten it....

The scalpers won't want to deal with that

Ya... as long as it is not on the STC property- which is why you see all the scalpers across the street... scalping (of all prices) is legal in MO

A policeman outside the arena once told me that though it is against the law, they do not usually get involved unless there is a complaint.

Look for anyone in maroon standing outside if you want tickets tomorrow.

I am here!, with the Salukis losing, if you can not find a ticket you are either dumb ,deff, or blind. Just read the Coaches post so you do not get taken advantage of.
Surprising how many Creightion fans are "'cocerned." Really
Once again we are the mystery team, " nobody wants to play us" hopefully it works out better for us , than the past!

Can't say that I am upset about SIU losing. My buddy, fyrebyrd, booked us a hotel room and it happened to be at the SIU team hotel. Good to know that they'll be gone when we get down there tomorrow.

The St. Louis area Taco Bell's have vouchers for $15 off a ticket to one session. My buddy who lives in STL picked some up tonight for me and said the Taco Bell on St Charles Rock Road had two large stacks left.
