Bradley ticket section - Are Creighton fans nearby?
The way its set up if our band and cheerleaders are on the end with the BU/Creighton fans it'll mean that we effectively put a nice "red" barrier in between their fans and the court...however, if our band and students are opposite that means our "fans" will be sandwiched between their band/students/dancers and their fan section.
Could be trouble. Gonna be extra important for our crowd to be responsive and LOUD!!!
The regular sections are sold as a package to each ticketholder- they can buy the seats for all sessions.
The student and band sections are the same each game. Each team's band and students must clear out after a game and allow the atudents and band from the teams playing the next game to move in a sit there.
This is likely going to be very messy as last year Creighton brought a LOT of fans, including many who didn't have tickets for the lower bowl. I anticipate they will be all milling around and it could get ugly. Hopefully I'm wrong and crowd control will be good. The idea of splitting up sections between 2 schools is really not a great idea I'm afraid.
I also hope I am wrong, but I have a feeling as the higher seeded team Creighton will get their bench down near that side of the floor. That will mean the Bradley band and students will have to go to the other side by the Bradley bench, on the opposite side of the arena from the main Bradley fan sections.

I think Creighton is down 500 fans this year? But they will still be strong and loud. I understand when the tix were assigned, the valley had no idea of the seedings. Still surprised we are in the same sections as Creighton. Nice Job Valley!

If this is the unfortunate case...we have a job to do since we'll be wedged between their band and fans. We need to make sure we stand, that we're loud, and that we are as disruptive as possible to their cheering.
Ofcourse, BU not coming out and folding up shop will help...I just don't want to see our section get lost because they are on either side of us.
I don't want to come across as negative, but our fans seem to be the quietest in the league. I've never understood it. It's not as if we don't have the numbers, they are just quiet and reserved. It's not the opera, yet half the "fans" there treat it like it is. Fire up, Jokers!

I can't remember but does the higher seeded team get to choose their bench? If it is run like I see most games run, Creighton will be on the left side and Bradley will be on the right which means that we will be right by our team.

If you took an average age from all the teams, Bradley and Indiana State would be listed as the oldest groups...
We just have lots of old individuals that hopefully will be replaced two generations lower in the near future...

Yes, so that guarantees Creighton would choose for their band and students to be right in front of us...
Thus the band away from us and taking many of our fans that don't cheer loud enough anyways or understand right out of the game.
I call this my challenge...
We need some to come down and step up and be vocal....
Bring your 3 signs, your white towels, whatever...just be LOUD!
We'll be loud if the team gives us something to cheer about.
I'm hoping to get some extra support from the WSU section next to us as well. We know their relationship with the Creighton fans, so any type of run by BU should amplify the crowd.
Sad that we have to depend on other teams fans to help us out, but that's what we need.
