a college head basketball coach endorsing hard liquor??
(and being paid $300,000 to sell his likeness as an endorsement)

--BTW-- I don't think it matters that it is very good whiskey that sells for $49 a bottle....would it be any different if it was a cheap wine or beer?

Does anything surprise you with Calipari? He likes his money. He must like his Maker's Mark too.

....because of this fact, I would say it is fine.

At least he is getting paid- unlike when Larry Eustachy was seen at a party with coeds downing Natty Light!
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

I gotta plead ignorance on this one...I mean if someone had told me that type of thing was frowned upon around here...

yeah-- sure...and it isn't helping Cal or the whiskey maker at all....

BTW -- it is NOT necessarily helping the Symphony if you read the release...it is helping bring the symphony to the public schools...

personally I am a bit leery of profit making organizations/corporations who claim they will give a certain share of their sales, as there are countless examples of where this never gets done and there's no law that requires them to keep their word..

Was it wrong? Should I not have done that??

No, I am sure it is. But, it's also helping a good cause. I say more power to them.

no, but somebody is profiting by selling an alcoholic beverage(s) at a Bradley basketball game...

I am not really crazy about seeing Calapari's likeness on a whiskey bottle while he is a coach at Kentucky, but the same time, I am not going to go after the guy while my school is playing games at an arena that sells alcoholic beverages before and during the game.
