Easily my favorite memory of the MVC Tournament. There isn't a close second I couldn't stop smiling for about a day and a half. I was standing right under neath the basket where Deon threw the shot in. Amazing.

I was around the same spot in the student section. After the game at the KSHE bar & grill adjacent to the Union Station, the crowd would go nuts anytime they would show Deon's shot. It was on about 3 times an hour.

From that shot on Sunday afternoon to the next game against Tulsa on Monday night, we probably yelled 'Chutzpah' a thousand times from the Robert Goulet commercial.

My memory is that, even as positive a fan as I am, I had all but given up hope, and was standing in the exitway, ready to run out and try to sell my tickets for the next day. What happened next was unbelieveable.

that's funny DC...cause I was in an exit way too.....and then running to the booth to buy tix for the next day

My brother, who was about 12 at the time.....decided to go to the bathroom at that time , and missed THE SHOT. What an *****.

I was there for Will Franklins shot, and that was pretty amazing to say the least.

I was at home for that one, but came down the following day.
