Anybody seen the new billboards advertising BU basketball? I saw one on Camp St. in East Peoria this morning as I was heading towards Peoria. It has a picture of several players (I think Zack was in the middle, kinda puffing out his chest) and the caption was something like "Get Your Sweet Seats Today" with a phone number.

I didn't see it right away, because it's the top of a two-stacker billboard, so maybe someone else can provide more details.
 
There's one on Allen Road as you are heading north on the left side of the road right after you pass Pioneer Park before getting to Walmart. It had Zach Andrews in the front palming a basketball "puffing" his chest out. It also had JJ, DA, WF and DR as well in like a V formation with Zach at the front, and Ruffin and JJ off to the left, and DA and WF off to the right.

I sent it to 3 of you who emailed it and hopefully I did it right.
The title is Get your 'Sweet Seats' now. I love my boy in the center but not a big fan of the eyebrows. We'll have a chat about that.

Does anyone else see this as a take off of the BU players going into the stands after beating Pittsburgh to advance to the Sweet 16? I'm usually a little slow on the uptake! :oops:
 
As they generally do with their early promo pictures, this one highlights the kids who are seniors.
Of course DA is a 5th year senior, and DRuff is a senior academically with potentially one more year of athletic
eligibility, and JJ, Zach, and Will are all true seniors.
The fact that none of the other BU players are pictured is likely of no significance other than that these are the seniors,
although I hope Ruffin gets to come back next year.
 
I think this is a take off of the SI cover with Cellus on it "puffing" out the Bradley name for everyone to see. Same game (Pitt) just a different "setting". Anyway, it's a good picture and it means that BU basketball is right around the corner!
 
I LOVE the new uniforms. Love the gravy training off the Cellus SI cover. The tagline's a little hokey but I think it works in context.
 
Agreed. I like the "shadowed" look of the block BRADLEY lettering, and the new accents on the unis. They're cool.

Could the new uniforms, and all the promotions in the Bradley office be due to the extra revenues from the NCAA run and the record donations and ticket sales?
