Maryland in my book is now a 3-4 seed after beating Duke and VA and locking up a tie on the top of the ACC. They have played real well the last 2 months. Duke being Duke may get a number 1 seed but I see the 1 seeds as KU, KY, SU and an emerging Ohio State. Duke's road record is not great.

        I'm not sure about a 3 for Maryland, but 4-5 I'll buy.

I think Maryland will get a 3. Their win over Duke sealed it.

My only problem with Maryland as a 3 is they need to be in the top 12 for that...

These teams I can't see putting Maryland ahead of:
            Kansas
            Syracuse
            Kentucky
            Dook
            Villanova
            West Virginia
            Ohio St
            Kansas St
            New Mexico
            Purdue

And of who's left...Tennessee I'd have ahead slightly (2 very quality high-end wins), Temple I'd have ahead slightly (committee has shown to reward conference champs well), Pittsburgh is right there, Michigan St, BYU, Vandy are 3 teams in the same area as Maryland.

If they win the ACCT I can buy the argument, though. Just don't see it as of today, though.

However, I may or may not be biased against Gary Williams

Not buying as hard on Seton Hall as others are. I think it'll take 2 wins, not 1. And St Louis is at least on the board, although I admittedly have them inflated rather high.

If BU had beaten Western Carolina, Loyola, and SIU at home, that would put our record at 19-12. TAS, do you think that would have given us a shot at the NIT?

Add Ill.St. to the list giving us 20 wins and then we are in the NIT.

Pretty much, yes. Any combination of 3 of the 5 home games we lost and I think that's enough to put us in, albeit at a poor seed.

Per Andy Katz, Creighton has accepted a CIT bid. No link or information yet, but I assume with the early deal that the Jays are going to host in some capacity.

It's kinda of funny I skip everyone elses post but TAS' regarding bracketology because he makes a ton of sense. Sorry MM you come in 2nd when it comes to bracketology. I know I have to many teams I either favor or do not like and could never be impartial. Keep up the good work TAS!

You didn't hurt my feelings. TAS does a bang-up job and love his input (all the time).

I don't try to be a bracketologist - but I do try to bring a sensible point of view and argument to the discussion.

                                Here is the official story-

                                It says-
..... the Jays have accepted a bid to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament and will play their first game on Tuesday at the Civic Auditorium at 7:05 p.m.

As was mentioned before, the Qwest Center, where Creighton has played all their home games since 2003, is occupied for the necessary dates of the CIT. Thus the game will be hosted by Creighton in the Omaha Civic Auditorium. That is where Creighton played their games prior to 2003.
