ISU v InSU is interesting...

Man the only games I can fill out with any confidence are MSU over evansville and UNI over the 8/9 winner. This bracket challenge should be tough!

Here are some things to think about when checking out the brackets.

In the past 5 Valley tournaments, the better seeded team is 31-14.
>>Four of the "upsets" were in the 8 v. 9 game.

In the past 2 Valley tournaments, the better seeded team is 15-3!!!

Wichita hasn't won since 1987.

Bradley has not won since 1988.

evansville is improving and have won their last two games against northern iowa and drake. wouldnt automatically put them down for a loss.

BU has not had a player on the All-Tourney team since 2006, when Cellus and POB made it.

Before 2006, you have to go to 2001 and Phillip Gilbert.

If BU is to make a run, could we see Sammy and Taylor make it? Or Sammy and AW?

well that explains why we havent won the torunament in st. louis. we have only been better than a 4 seed three times(the last being 9 years ago) and this is the 20th year. i am not a math major but 85% of the time we been a 4 seed or worse. need to find a way to get higher seed more often.

Come on man, that was one of two games I was feeling confident about, now you want to make me doubt that too lol? I realize Evansville has been playing much better, and in another matchup I might consider them, but I just like MSU in this one. I think they are a pretty good team when they are on.

From '93 to '02, we finished 4th or lower 6 times, with 4 top 2 finishes.

From '03 to '10 we've finished 4th or lower 8 times, with 0 top 2 finishes.

well not only that but obviously the higher the seed, more of chance to win the conference tournament.frankly, i find it hard to believe that in 19 years we havent won arch madness once. maybe this being the 20th year it will be our year. man would that be great.
