After looking at the boxscore....I first thought SM might still be injured after the WS game, he only attempted one 3......but he also played 40 minutes?

BU snake bit vs CU - officials, illness, injuries, untimely tweets, and, MVC scheduling that allows CU to play its "Senior Day" game vs a team who is now 0 for its last 12 at Omaha. Coincidence?

Was at my nephew's birthday party and had to miss the game.

Were they all over Sammy or what? He played the whole game but only got 3 pts?

Would be diffifcult for any team to win at Creighton on Senior day/night.

If WE could get away with a fraction of what refs let Lawson get away with he'd be All MVC

One problem I've noticed all year with Egolf all year is how he leans into and over the man he is guarding, and then continues moving into the man after the shot. I can't believe nobody has told him to just stand straight and tall and not lean into and form a "tent" over the man he is guarding. He gets called for a foul every time so you think he'd learn.

Yeah, the fouls were "ticky tack" but they were fouls none the less.

The Creighton defense was on Sammy from the midcourt line. Sammy didn't have a good shooting day, but most of it was their defensive quickness and staying on him. DSE didn't have a good game either, and we really needed him to.

I kinda meant the reason we we have to go to the zone some to protect our bigs, especially when Egolf is out, cuz Singh can't handle Lawson. I know what ya mean though. The reason we are playing zone is that we have no solid center.

I would force Lawson to get 40 to beat us, it seems like when we double up on him it allows everyone else to get going, and we still can't handle Lawson anyway. I say let Lawson get his, and stick like glue to everybody else.

Pekin played Springfield H.S. in the state tour. and SPHS had Dave Robish who was a very good 6-9 center, Dawdy Hawkins was Pekins coach and he decided that they would not be able to stop Robish but they stopped everybody else because Robish scored around 40 points but the rest of the team only scored 9 and Pekin won the game.

Sam and DSE's main game is the slash to the hoop. Creighton intentionally took that away by have 2 to 3 players back down into the lane when Sam/DSE would approach. That way they wouldn't be able to use their speed to create a close shot and forcing other teammates to take a jump shot or work the ball in on their own.

Warren had several open 3 chances but he was sick as a dog. Thankfully Brown and Eastman were able to carry most of the offense.
