  • Thabeet headed to D-League...

....pretty much what the title said.

This does not surprise me one bit. I never saw what all the hype was about him. 7'3" in college is one thing but when you go up against men every night who are on a mission, well that is another story. Just ask POB.

Being a Louisville native i watch a lot of B-east play, and it was pretty clear that when his size wasn't enough to supply him a clear advantage, he really wasn't much of a player. Dejaun Blair just destroyed him when they would go head to head, and Blair was giving up the better part of a foot to Hasheem. Hopefully the kid will get stronger, and increase his desire top play hard, make a return to the league.

Yeah and Dejaun Blair is tearing it up with the Spurs. Once Tim Duncan decides to retire, Blair will certainly be a dominant replacement. Was some talk about Blair having bad knees before the draft but I havn't heard or seen anything to back that up.

I'd say Thatbeet might not stay in the D-League very long...

In his game yesterday, he went 8-10, 19 points, 16 rebounds, 6 blocks
