"If" XC gets qualified ( ) shortly based on his high school academic record, it is still too late for him to be eligible for this semester, so he will stay at juco, where he will have tons of chance to get a lot of minutes. He isn't lilely to transfer in midyear, so he'd wait until 2007-2008.

Again, if XC is deemed eligible, he should have never left in the first place. It totally screws BU.

Aren't you required to stay 2 years if you head the JUCO route?

I would say better news would be hearing Fears could play at the end of the 1st semester. But I see that as being impossible as well.

The NCAA has a rule prohibiting midyear transfers by jucos, even if they qualify otherwise. So he would not transfer until next year if he was eligible. If he is a qualifier, he does not need to stay a full 2 years there (just like Lance Stemler transferred to Bradley after just 1 year at juco). Only nonqualifiers need to graduate in order to go to a 4-year school.

If he is deemed eligible, he's on my sh-t list for leaving in the first place.

I just found out that the juco guy Monquel Pegues was not at Bradley for a visit last weekend, despite a report on an internet recruiting site that he would be visiting.

So, if anyone knows who was visiting, let us know. I have heard it was someone JL would like to have locked up.

Average Joe posted on another thread that he thought Nick Fruendt was on campus last week-end? But he is in the class of 2008!
