personally I'd rather be accused of positive spin than constant, droning, negative spin that amounts to bellyaching
5-2 is a good month. 6-2 would be better yet.

Do you really care if we win at CU? We are in the 4/5 game regardless. I'd rather play the bench and see what AT can give us and also not give Dana any information they can use on us in St Louis. Yes, you play to win, but I hope we use this opportunity to rest the hobbled and play those that maybe able to help us in the Tournament. I personally like our red uniforms more then our white.

Yes, I care. I like our chances better against the Sycs or Bears than against Dana.

The result of that game determines our opponent, not just our jersey color. I'd rather beat them Saturday and then not have to play them again. Plus it would be nice to take some momentum into St. Louis.

And it's nice to see that we're playing better basketball this month record-wise. Let's just let the facts speak for themselves.

As do I. 2x against the Jays is enough.

OK I just thought and obviously wrong that CU was also positioned for the 4/5 game regardless. If that is not the case then I want a win also. I still would like to see us use our bench a bit in this one. We need to front Lawson and not let him get those feeds so easily.

We're 5-2 this month, like T said. Very close to being 7-0 as well, argue other things but in regards to how BU is playing right now....hard to spin that. I'd be willing to bet that throughout Les's tenure we have one of the top records in February- we always seem to go into StL hot.

Forget about teams I would have to say CR is one of the hottest players of the month along with SM!

We have a good month. With a win Saturday, I believe, we would have beaten every valley team this year except for ISU. Right now I would put ISU as the hottest team and BU right behind them. It is going to be a very interesting weekend, with really any team having the chance to win it.

Because at the time that was posted, we had just blown our 6th double-digit 2nd half home lead this season, and had lost 4 of the 5 previous. So the odds were high that it was about to be a loss. Fortunately, we made it 2-4 in games with the blown big leads at home.

I think you forgot the InSU game at home...which we pulled out in OT. So losses to WCU, Loyola, SIU, and ISU, and wins against InSU and WSU.

You are correct. I guess there were so many of them I just lost track. So 2-4 in games involving blown 2nd half double-digit leads...but we've won 2 of our last 3...so the arrow is indeed pointing up!

well i guess that losing twice to ISU(red) and once to ISU(blue) in the past 4 weeks does not make me overly optimistic about how "hot" this program is.... So as long as we don't play a team whose initials are ISU in St Louis, we can keep this "hot" streak up.
