In the month of February, here's the performance of each Valley team:
Bradley: 5-2 with only a 1-pt loss to ISU and an OT loss to InSU - arguably just a smidgen away from being 7-0
Creighton: 4-3 with wins only over the lower end teams of the Valley and about to get one more loss at home
Drake: 2-5 and not a single win over a team above .500 and pretty much locked into Thursday
Evansville: 2-5 with wins over UNI & WSU, but still losing to teams like UIC, anyway - Evansville is incapabble of getting hot
ISU: 6-1 playing very well
Indiana St: 3-4 but are limping and got hammered badly last night, half their team is hurt and adrenaline can only carry so far
Missouri St: 4-3 but have not beaten an upper division Valley team - MSU started the season 12-1, and have gone 7-9 since
No. Iowa: 5-2 but losing to Evansville disqualifies these guys from any consideration
So. Illinois: 3-4 but just lost to Creighton, Drake, and MSU - three teams they'd have had to beat to get any consideration - SIU is 6-11 since nipping BU on New Year's Day
Wichita St: 3-4 but lost once to Evansville, then almost lost again to them, pulling it out in OT - they are also 6-6 over the past 6 weeks and 3 of their wins are by 2 pts or less
So let's see someone refute the facts...
Bradley is the hottest team in the Valley right now, playing better than any other MVC team....so why can't people see the obvious and stop the bellyaching?
