I'm planning on streaming the game Saturday, and I've got a question: should I buy from BUBraves.tv or from Creighton's site? It seems that I can't purchase the game on an individual basis as I've done in the past, but I'm cool with paying for the one-month subscription since it'll be split between a bunch of us. It's $11.95 at Creighton's site and $9.95 at Bradley's. I'd rather not give my money to the filthy Bluejays, but I also want a quality stream, so what would you guys recommend?

It all comes from the same stream and the much maligned BU.tv feed has been improved the 2nd 1/2 of the season. You also can wait to see if Channelsurfing gets it!

                  Creighton Finale, Again
For the second time in three years Bradley will visit Creighton in the regular-season finale and a possible preview of a quarterfinal matchup of the fourth and fifth seeds in the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament...Unlike two years ago, however, more than uniform color will be on the line for the Bluejays...While Bradley is guaranteed a spot in the 4-5 game at 2:35 p.m. March 5, as the fourth seed with a win and the fifth seed with a loss, Creighton could drop into the No. 6 seed by losing its Senior Day game to the Braves...The last time these two teams met in a similar scenario, Creighton survived a 111-110, double-overtime thriller March 1, 2008 at Qwest Center.

                  Building Momentum
Bradley will be trying to ride a wave of momentum into the 2010 State Farm MVC Tournament when the Braves visit Creighton Saturday afternoon...Bradley has won five of its last seven games and the two losses were decided in overtime and on a putback basket with less than a minute left...Two of the five wins have come against the league's top two teams, then 18th-ranked UNI, 68-59, and Wichita State, 75-73...The Braves will be shooting for their third, three-game winning streak of the season.

                  Four-Guard Look
Bradley has utilized a four-guard starting lineup in the last two games and the Braves have gone 2-0 with the small starting lineup...The quartet of Sam Maniscalco, Chris Roberts, Dyricus Simms-Edwards and Andrew Warren have combined to average 58.5 ppg and 16.5 rpg in the last two games.

                  Did You Know?
Entering Saturday's finale with identical 9-8 league marks, Bradley and Creighton have joined UNI as the only three teams to finish at least .500 in The Valley each of the last five years.

                  Omaha Hex
Bradley is shooting for its first-ever win at Qwest Center (0-6) and the Braves are trying to end an overall 11-game road skid at Creighton...With a loss Saturday, Bradley would match its longest ever road losing streak to one opponent, equalling a 12-game slide at DePaul (1953-2003) and an active 12-game skid at Louisville (1965-).
                  Bradley's Longest Road Losing Streaks
                  12 at Louisville 1965-Present
                  12 at DePaul 1953-2003
                  11 at Creighton 1999-Present

                  With A Win...
Bradley will be finish alone in fourth place in the final MVC regular-season standings and will be the No. 4 seed for next week's State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament...The Braves will earn their third straight win for a third time this year and will ride into the MVC Tournament with six wins in the last eight games...Bradley will achieve double-digit Valley wins for the fourth time in five years, joining Creighton as the only two Valley teams to win at least 10 conference games in four of the last five years.

                  With A Loss...
The Braves will finish the regular season tied for fifth in The Valley standings with Saturday's Indiana State-Missouri State winner, but will win the tiebreaker with either of those teams for the No. 5 seed for next week's MVC Tournament, where they will play fourth-place Creighton again.

                  Breaking It Down
A Creighton win Saturday sets up a rematch between Bradley and the Bluejays in Friday's 2:35 p.m. quarterfinal game at the MVC Tournament...If Bradley wins, however, the Braves could face Creighton, Indiana State or Missouri State in the same quarterfinal game:
                  To Play Creighton Again
Creighton would finish tied for fifth, but would be the tournament's No. 5 seed only if Evansville (at Drake), Indiana State (vs. Missouri State) and UNI (vs. Illinois State) all win Saturday.

                  Indiana State or Missouri State
If any of those three road teams win Saturday, Bradley would play the winner of the Indiana State-Missouri State game.
                  Triple Threat
The Bradley trio of junior guard Andrew Warren (14.6 ppg), sophomore forward Taylor Brown (13.6) and junior guard Sam Maniscalco (12.9) combine to score 41.1 ppg...Individually, Warren ranks third, Brown seventh and Maniscalco 10th among Valley players in overall scoring this year...The Valley's next best scoring trio are Illinois State seniors Osiris Eldridge (15.9 ppg), Dinma Odiakosa (13.2) and Lloyd Phillips (10.4) at 39.5 ppg...The Bradley trio also tops The Valley by combining for 43.3 ppg in conference play: Maniscalco (3rd, 15.0 ppg), Warren (4th, 14.9) and Brown (8th, 13.4)...In the 24 games Brown has played this year, the Braves are 9-5 (.643) when the trio combines for at least 40 points, but 4-6 (.400) when they fail to reach 40.

                  2,000-Point Backcourt
Entering Saturday's regular-season finale, Bradley's junior guard combo of Sam Maniscalco (1,108 ) and Andrew Warren (982) have combined for 2,090 career points...Maniscalco and Warren are the first pair of Bradley juniors to reach 2,000 combined points since the "G-Men" combo of Phillip Gilbert and James Gillingham during the 2002-03 season...Gilbert (1,352 points) and Gillingham (964) ended the 2002-03 season with 2,316 career points and eventually pushed their final overall career total to 3,105 combined points.

                  Chase To 1,000-Point Club
Bradley junior guard Andrew Warren needs 18 points to become the 44th player in Bradley Basketball history to score 1,000 career points.

                  Maniscalco In Century Club
After equalling the Missouri Valley Conference record for the most games ever played by a second-year player (74), Bradley junior guard Sam Maniscalco has become just the third three-year Brave to appear in 100 career games...Maniscalco will equal the Bradley record for career games by a three-year player Saturday and can equal the Valley record in Friday's MVC Tournament quarterfinal game.

                  Recapping The First Meeting
Wednesday, Feb. 24 - at Bradley 75, Wichita State 73 - Carver Arena
Creighton benefitted from a cold start from the field by host Bradley (10-10, 5-5 MVC) and the visiting Bluejays (11-10, 6-4 MVC) held on for a 73-68 Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball victory Feb. 24 at Carver Arena...The Braves missed 17 of their first 19 field goal attempts in the opening 13 minutes...Bradley narrowed its deficit to one possession on four different occasions down the stretch, but could never get over the hump...Bradley missed its last four field goal attempts, including game-tying 3-point tries by Chris Roberts, Andrew Warren and Sam Maniscalco inside the final 1:13 before Justin Carter ultimately put the game away by scoring the game's final two points from the free throw line with six seconds left.

                  The Last Time Out
Wednesday, Feb. 24 - at Bradley 75, Wichita State 73 - Carver Arena
Bradley junior guard Sam Maniscalco capped off his first career double-double by sinking the game's two deciding free throws with 11.7 seconds remaining, leading the Braves (15-13, 9-8 MVC) to a 75-73 Senior Night victory versus Missouri Valley Conference rival Wichita State (22-8, 11-6 MVC) Wednesday night at Carver Arena...The 6-foot guard was in the right place at the right time when the Shockers could not execute a routine inbounds play from midcourt with 14.1 seconds remaining and in position to play for the game's last shot: Shockers guard Clevin Hannah failed to collect the pass into the backcourt from Graham Hatch and Maniscalco scooped up the loose ball and was fouled by Hannah while attempting a transition layup...Bradley jumped on the visitors early by racing to a 25-6 lead with 9:53 left in the first half, but the Shockers steadily chipped away at the deficit and eventually took their first lead, 66-65, when Hannah scored in the paint with 5:31 remaining.

                  Big Media Numbers
Now in his 31st year as the radio Voice of the Braves, Dave Snell has participated in 949 Bradley Basketball game broadcasts, all in succession, on WMBD AM 1470 since taking over play-by-play duties for the 1979-80 season...Snell was inducted into the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame Jan. 23...Snell's longtime radio sidekick, Joe Stowell, has been witness to 1,543 Bradley Basketball games in his various roles as player (103, 1947-50); assistant coach (250, 1956-65); head coach (344, 1965-78 ); assistant athletic director (107, 1978-85); and radio analyst (739, 1985-present)...Peoria Journal Star beat writer Dave Reynolds has covered 612 consecutive Bradley Basketball games since taking over the beat for the start of the 1990-91 season.

A fellow alum forwarded me an email saying that the parties (yes, there will be more than one) would be at JBuck's again this year, and start 3 hours before our scheduled tip-off. I don't think anything official from the university has been sent out though.
