Some fans are giving a lifetime, some are giving a week. Truth is it doesn't matter what we think. But, we do have opinions and we're just voicing them.

It's just that this conversation is getting real old for the vast majority on this site. Is there a yawn smilie? You are right it does not matter what we think so let's leave it alone for now!

That was the though this year too. We were getting AW and WE back. Chances are there will be a departure or two, and we don't have anyone committed as of yet. So as of right now, it appears to be more or less the same team that we had this year, which was similar to last year's team which actually did better than this year's group.

To many questions I guess to truly know what next year will be like. Unless you know something we do not regarding departures it is all speculative at best. You did know about Hummel though before a real source did!

If people make statements that others don't agree with, why should they remain silent? Sounds like oppression of thoughts to me. If they're personal attacks, that's one thing. But I thought discussing different thoughts and viewpoints was what message boards were for.

90% of what's said on here is speculation. I didn't say who was going because quite frankly I don't think too many people know. But it's an inevitable fact that someone will leave. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it isn't good either. It happens to most programs every year.

Regarding the speculative part I was not disagreeing with your input. I'd bet a king ransom that someone will leave. It seems to happen in today's environment to every team every year.

That's your decision. I don't think there were too many people disappointed with the direction of the program a few years ago, but when it gets progressively worse for 3 straight years there's bound to be some people that aren't happy. This board is full of fans of the Bradley Braves. Fans come in all shapes and sizes. I don't think anyone considers this the bastion of negativity. I certainly don't.

PLEASE. PLEASE= Be more positive about the BU program. Times have changed from 20 years ago. THE WORLD IS READING THIS.

We are all dissapointed with 3-4 games this year but let's stay positive. FACT is JL will be around for at least a few more years!

So what? They read every message board. Have you ever read IlliniBoard or any of the Kentucky or Kansas boards? They seem to do just fine recruiting-wise, and any perceived negativity on this board pales in comparison to those boards. Give me a break with your scare tactics.

Not really. But OK, I will humor you - Go over to the other passionate boards in this league - CU, WSU, SIU for example. Again, the perceived negativity on this board pales in comparison to those, and again none of those schools have a problem recruiting. In fact, all of those programs have won more conference titles than we have since the invention of the internet, so one could argue that the lack of objectivity in viewing the BU program on this board has actually hurt recruiting, not helped it. But believe what you want. If a kid doesn't want to be a part of a program because he read something about the coach on a message board, do we really want him if he's that impressionable and easily persuaded? Please.

BU has 1 NIT appearance with a 1-1 record.

BU is 14-12 in all postseason appearances under Jim Les.

2007 NIT --- record was 1-1 - reached Sweet 16 of NIT
2008 CBI --- record was 4-2 - played in the Championship Game
2009 CIT --- record was 3-1 - played in the Championship Game
Total...........four tournaments, 10 wins, 5 losses....

and as noted elsewhere Bradley has the most post-season appearances of any Valley team and most post-season games as any Valley team, and most post-season wins as any Valley team in the past 5 years....and NO TEAM in the Valley has more than a single victory in St. Louis more than BU in that same past 5-year span!!
