Great win for EU but not a good thing for NIU as they probably have to win the tournament to get to the big dance
Evansville beat the University of Northern Iowa, otherwise known as UNI on their uniforms, in their logo, and in their fight song. NIU is Northern Illinois University.
I think they are still in because this game was at Evansville without Egleseder. Now if they had lost at home then that would be a different story in my eyes.

IMO - They would still be IN. But that's assuming they beat ISU at home then win at least 1 in St Louis.
But honestly - they lose to ISU, then win 1 in St Louis... I still say they are a LOCK at being in.
Too good of an RPI and winner of a Top 10 (RPI) Conference.
I know the whole thing of Missouri St being left out with an RPI of 21... but they didn't win the Conference.
So may as well come to grips with the fact UNI is a LOCK IN the NCAA.
How good is their RPI going to be after losing to a team with an RPI of 275, though?
I won't see Palm's numbers from CollegeRPI.com til tomorrow. As Tulsa Brave pointed out (likely from RealTimeRpi's site), the loss is not that big of a hit. Don't get me wrong - it's a bad loss for them and it's gonna put a hurtin on their seeding (not that that I thought they would be getting a great seed anyway - I can see them in an 8/9 or maybe 7/10 game). But they are still a LOCK IN the NCAA.

I actually get them from Warren Nolan's site...they update every 15 minutes, and with a couple games still going on, they could change another spot or two before the night is over.
