Thanks to BU senior Sam Singh- #54

[Da Coach]

Big Sam, #54, has been at Bradley for 6 years. He was originally part of the same 2004 recruiting class as Patrick O'Bryant, Lawrence Wright, Lance Stemler, and Jeremy Crouch. Sam has endured multiple injuries, 2 reconstructions to his knee, a shoulder reconstruction, and a fractured nose, in addition to many minor injuries. Sam has been a valued and well liked member of the team. He was part of the 2006 Sweet 16 team, even though his season ended after playing just 7 games. Though Sam was never able to reach his potential because of limitations from all his injuries, Bradley fans appreciate what he's meant to the team. Thanks, Sam!

I guess it will be strange not seeing you next year as you have been here for a very long time, I cannot imagine how tough it has been to go thru all the injuries you have endured and you were part of a special team in 2006, you have been a great team mate to all the players that have been here the last 6 years and a good person, good luck in your future endeavors.

Thanks Sam for all you have brought to BU, I wish we could have seen 4 years of a healthy you to see what you would have become, but you still battled through it all to help us on the court, but mostly to represent us well off the court and to be a mentor to all our young guys. It will be weird to see a BU team without you on it next year. Thanks and good luck in the future!

Thanks Sam for the many memories you have brought for many of us but none quite as sweet as the time you came into my daughter's restaurant and went to the kitchen and talked to my grandson who is now one of, if not, your biggest fan. It made a huge impression on a 4y/o who thought you were a giant until you picked him up and talked ever so gently to him. He always is wanting to know when "Big Sam" is in the game.
