It seems our guys just look for the ball and go after it instead of putting a body on a guy and then go after it.
I agree SFP. There were too many times where our zone got out of balance (no pun intended OoB ) and where we failed to box out properly. Fortunately, Drexel was just not that good of a team.

However, we also must keep in mind that it was our first time playing zone the majority of the time and that we have primarily been a man-to-man team. I'm sure we'll get even better with more practice if we choose to use it again in the MVC.

I think Les was trying to win. MK gave us nothing but minutes while he was in first half and AT.............. I think we know that story.

After reading thompsons tweets i can see why doesn't play his overall attitude is terrible. Ml didn't really do anything to really warrent secod half minutes. He missed two boards and got lost on d once not rotating out on a shooter. Btw first game in a real long time I saw any passion from our bench. I thought Eastman played very well he has a very good bball iq and dse though he got hung up in the air he is so strong and confident and is our only guard who can go to the rim hard and is capable of finishing.

We do need to remind ourselves that DSE is only a Freshman. 3 more years of this He's only going to get stronger, faster and shoot the ball better!

The players on the bench will never get better if they don"t get some playing time , that is why many of the other teams in the Valley get more production out of their bench, they get them minutes which in turn makes them more prepared down the road to contribute.

He hadn't prepared for Bradley's 4-guard lineup, and it obviosly hurt his team. It appears he was outcoached!
                Congratulations Coach Les.

all they have to do is come to this board a couple days before hand and see what's up. It wasn't a secret....Bruiser said the didn't have any shooters other than Fouch....did our 4 guard lineup hurt them or their inablility to shoot the ball? Either way it's a nice game to win...congrats to JL and the Braves

Wait...you mean Les has never clapped and been positive toward his team before?

I didn't say that, I just said I noticed it last night.

Sometimes you win the battle but lose the war. We won the battle against Drexel, but you do have to question the state of the team and program ...

Well, we only had to go 25 or so games, and several blown second-half leads, before we came up against a bad, outside shooting team and decided to emphasize the zone D. A veritable Einstein. And with our best zone D player on the bench. Disgusting in my opinion.
