CR in the dunk contest at the final four? NO WAY HE DOES NOT GET INVITED. when he had that break away steal....if he didn't mishandle the ball I would have rushed to court after what he could have thrown down!

    2. I love DSE. I think he needs to be more respectful of opposing bigs inside though. He gets in the air and expects to be able to maneuver easily....when it isn't so easy. Didn't he have like 5 or 6 TO's? However I love the aggression and no fear of going to the rim....he will be a stud. He can create.

    3. Why can't MK just get a few more minutes....and where was AT???????????? grrrrrrrr. This was the perfect game to get everyone in! I don't see what JE is bringing to the table that is extraordinary...

    4. Can't anyone realize that maybe AW's game is just not bruising? He is all about finesse....He will not change his style now....he is where he wants to be. I will take everything he did tonight every game. He uses his finesse to get open looks...he doesn't have to bang inside to be successful.
Milos's motor is going about 100mph. He's outta position alot, sets bad screens and isn't real good on D. He's KINDA lost.

JE plays under control, usually is in the correct spot can get a rebound and can get to the basket.

One could argue that Milos just needs more game action. I think he'll be Ok but really BOTH coulda redshirted. I understand why JE had to come off but it hurt us long term allthough JE should be more prepared NEXT yuear.

Milos, OTOH, has basically wasted a year IMO.

I liked what AW did....wasn't hitting from outside so took a few to the rack and scored...then went back outside and hit a few.

He had a couple drives late that were soft but maybe you are correct...he's just not an explosive player.

DSE..yeah...he can get o the rack. Great first step. He makes a few poor choices once he is there but I think that will only get better with time. Ya gotta love his game.

Agree 100% and to add that I hope AW will work on becoming a more explosive player during the off-season. I also loved the aggressive play of CR going hard to the rim and slamming the ball, WE take note. When you can slam it, SLAM it. You are a big and finessing it does not suit you.

        Tales from the Red Sea

Did anyone notice the Drexel bench last night? The bench players started chanting "Defense!" when Drexel was on D. Just to tease them, I told the Drexel bench that "at least you're better than the Bradley cheerleaders", and one of the bench players, Kenny Tribbett, flipped me off. This was three minutes into the first half last night. None of the refs caught it.

Wow..I'm not so sure you'd say that in ear-shot of our cheerleaders. Pretty sure even the girls are fit enough to kick your rear end.

Yea and did you not watch the half time show...? I was legitimately impressed. My two little sisters loved it also, they were mesmerized.

I thought it was good as well, and why don't they do it more often?

                  A few things...

                  1. Really liked the zone. I feel like we played it much better being committed to it than we do just going to it as a token defense a couple possessions a game. Sure, Drexel is a bad shooting team, but we've seen other bad shooting teams have field days at Carver.

                  2. Really liked the cheerleaders showing us their stuff at halftime. They appeared to be prepping for a competition; if that's the case I would love to hear more about it.

                  3. Would like to see Eastman attempt a few more 3's. His shot is pretty flat, but I think he's got a decent stroke from there.

All in all, nice to treat an inferior opponent the way they should be treated. Hopefully we can close out the home slate on a positive note on Wednesday. I can't believe the season is over already!

Yeah zone worked...without Fouch hitting the 3's he did....it could have been more ugly.

I noticed that JE's shot does not look special at all....he doesn't look like a confident 3 point threat.

And the season is not over.....the final four is still over a month away...
