    I disagree. If I did something that warranted either me being benched for a game and having to watch my team play or running til I puked and working on a community service project, it would be much worse for me to have to sit there and watch as my team played. Players want to play more than anything and to have to sit on the bench while my team either succeeds without me or fails without me is so much more difficult than running til I puke and doing a community service project.

      Is this the standards of conduct that you were referring to?

      8. Violation of published University policies or campus regulations including, but not limited to, housing regulations, campus regulations concerning the registration of student organizations, and the use of University facilities;

      15. Indecent, obscene, or inappropriately loud conduct, expression, or action at a University-sponsored or supervised functions;

      18. Any act or conduct which threatens to interfere with or disrupt the educational process or other legitimate function of the University or which endangers the health, safety, or property of any member of the Bradley community.

      And according to you, possibly number 5

      5. Sexual assault, sexual harassment or sexual misconduct of any person on or connected with the campus or at any University sponsored or supervised function or event. (See Statement on Racial Discrimination and Sexual Harassment and Definition of Sexual Misconduct.)
      Thanks for posting these. It is a massive stretch to suggest any of these codes apply to what were are talking about here with TB. Does anyone disagree with me? I am not going to go into detail about each code, but obviously all of these codes were written to address far greater threats, and more serious and harmful actions than TB's.

          That is the same feeling I got which is why I posted them individually instead of just leaving it up to people to click on the link

            Again Ben...not going to focus on WHAT he said. But like Flipper said, JL is upset. Upset enough that he went public. He most likley will sit out tonite.

            Its the repeated pattern that troubles me more then anything.

            IF it were "no big deal" he wouldn't be in trouble.

            How hard should JL run him IF he breaks rules a 4th time...a 5th.....how many times does he have to puke before he gets the message?

            OK...I'm done with this. My hope is we don't here another thing about TB for the next two years other then team wins and how he helped get us to the NCAA's.

              i agree. tb's behavior has not and is not big deal.all his incidents have been blown out of proportion. he is a good kid and we need him to win basketball games. i want to see bu win.tb helps us.everything should point to this goal.lets win today. no sense punishing his teammates and us fans by not allowing him to play, i like watching tb play.great athlete.

              time to move on...go bu!!!

                I'm with you and if you look even closer at the trend, he missed a couple of our biggest and most difficult games of the season. At BYU which could've gotten the season off on a different note, At Wichita St. where has anybody won a game yet?, and possibly now against Drexel at home in a Bracketbuster matchup which is difficult because it is an opponent we are not familiar with.

                I notice the trend to and if this is all true then it is getting really disappointing.

                  Well said Dogs......

                  Obviously it was a big enough problem/violation to have Coach Les act on TB's actions.

                    Bet we see a great show by DSE tonight if TB can't play. I also think AW plays better as the main option than sharing the scoring load. I hope MK can give some good min. Finally a Sat night game and I bet the Braves "circle the wagons" and play well without TB.

                      We can agree to disagree and thats fine... I believe that TB should have to do some things outside the court for his punishment. What we can probably agree with is that TB's actions are immature. Heck I did a LOT of stupid and immature things when I was his age. I think that if he could work at something like a community project and associate with people who for some reason are not as lucky as he is, then maybe just maybe he could mature and realize that the opportunity that he has been given should not be squandered.

                          Do you really think no other college student in that class ever thought those things other than TB.
                          We have way too many thought police suddenly. I prefer to save my indignation for something more deserving.
