    3 senarios-based on tiebreaker points

    1. win 2 games, and there's an outside shot at 3rd.

    2. win 1 game, and the Braves are almost guaranteed a 4/5 game.

    3. lose both games and still probably finish 6th (this might be better avoiding #1 seed in round two.. except it's probably a matchup with ISU in round 1)

    Since I don't see us finishing 3rd.......

I would rather play in the 4/5 game and more than likely play UNI if we win, than play isu in the opening round.

Besides, how great would a Bradley/isu championship game be?!?!?!?

Here are the scenarios for Bradley avoiding the play-in round. We can avoid it at 8-10, but I wouldn't call it likely. MSU's loss tonight helps.

      1. BU clinches a top 6 seed with either a win against WSU or a win at CU.

      2. BU clinches a top 6 seed with losses to both WSU and CU AND an MSU win over DU AND a DU win over UE AND an MSU loss to InSU (win round-robin tiebreaker with MSU and DU).

      3. BU clinches a top 6 seed with losses to both WSU and CU AND a DU win over MSU AND a DU loss to UE (win any round-robin tiebreaker involving Drake even if other teams are involved...possible 4-way tie would go BU's way for the 5 seed).

There are other scenarios under which BU can finish 8-10 and get a top 6 seed (i.e. beat MSU/InSU on tiebreaker points), but they are longshots at this point.

Almost as good as Bradley beating isu in the championship game.

Playing ISU ANYTIME would not be good. They looked awfully good tonight. Odiakosa is on a mission. We have no one (or two) who can handle him. They're peaking at just the right time. We, on the other hand, are stuck back in November.

The heck with it. I want ISU. Let's win that **** game against them. We got nothing to lose.

ISU won tonight, so 3rd is out of the picture now...only InSU can still crack the top 3 out of the 8-8 teams...

I'm ready for our tradish 4/5 game. Let's make it the #4 seed and wear white.

BU's best shot at making Sunday is through the 4/5 game and UNI on Saturday. I put their chances of getting through the 2 and 3 as ZERO.

Should we play ISU, I would view it as a no-lose proposition, win or lose. Just about the only way we make the 6 is by losing out in conference, which would put us at 8-10 and on a 3 game losing streak and under .500. Should we beat ISU, we completely ruin their season. Absolutely ruin. Should we lose, we'd have lost 4 straight in league play, finish 8-11 in league play and under .500 overall, and have lost 3 to ISU in one year for I believe the first time ever. That just might be enough to enact some real change on the Hilltop. So, it's a win-win.

My personal preference is to win out and draw Drake in the matinee on Friday in St. Louis.

I'll take my chances with Creighton in the 235 game Friday wearing red or preferably black...

Being in the 4/5 has led us to the title game once, and almost three times with Les so I feel more than comfortable there, and against a team who I feel won't shoot well enough to run out out of a gym if we start out slow.

Let's be honest...every team in the valley has matcup problems inside against ISU with the exception of UNI (Egleseder). If ISU bigs play with their speed they would dominate Egleseder. With that said...We can beat UNI! Best scenerio for us is to be the 4-5 seed..win! Play UNI in the 2nd round...win! Go into the Championship and win!

I agree completely. Dana doesn't scare me. Teams that rebound better than us do, and creighton isn't one of those. we really need a win wednesday AND a CU road win at SIU to get them out of tiebreaker scenarios that push us to 6 at 9-9. getting them to 10-8 would help us stay 5 if we lose to them on Saturday. As much as I don't like facing same team back to back, they are our best matchup other than maybe Drake. Please keep us away from ISU red at all costs. We can't outboard them, we can't outhustle them, we'd have to outshoot them and that's asking a lot.

Dana has always found a way to get teams to win more than they should.

CU doesn't scare me either, but Dana does.
