Only 10 men played with only 8 getting significant minutes. In the regular season in 04-05 for Creighton they played 8-9 guys significantly in every box score I've looked at, and only 10 guys total still. I'm not sure were your getting your numbers. Also Motz played the most minutes of anyone off the bench in the tourny in 2005 for Creighton.

And even if it were true, I strongly disagree with a 12 man rotation as being the most effective approach, because I have not seen much success on a regular basis from teams who do it. I believe an 8-9 man rotation with maybe another guy getting about 5 minutes or less is the most effective.

I wasn't trying to state in terms of effectiveness really, BUT I just do not think that even if our team was hitting on all cylinders that we could outlast 3 solid teams in 3 days playing 3 or more players 30+ each game...

And with the lack of contributions we are receiving from Singh and Eastman as being 2 of the only 3 we right now are using off the bench is alarming...

All I was really trying to get at with the discussion is that Altman has figured out how to play more than the average coach AND still get quality play come MVCT time from them, all each relishing and knowing their roles - thus why they have won the event more than anyone else.

I thought we were talking about next years team being deep, and then got into our philosophies of what deep is, how it should be used, and how JL will use next year's team. But if your talking about this year, then I 100% agree.

We play 8 guys this yes, but 2 of them play filler minutes. We really are playing 6 guys who significantly contribute. No this team in not deep at all this year, we are in complete agreement on that. It will definitely make a run in St. Louis tough.
