Does that seem even remotely odd to you given what the rest of the team
    does?

He's just trying to fit in...

Speaking of which, maybe you can enlighten me on why we went back to strickly man to man D when the 2-3 zone was working so well?

I'm all for starting DSE over Roberts. Chris might be the most athletic player in the conference and most nights his defense is good, but if he isn't going to use his athleticism and get to the rack, then let's have someone who will. Not to mention the fact that Dyricus has proved this year that he is probably going to be starting a lot of games in his Bradley career. The more, the better.

We desperately need to go back to a regular lineup!
It depends on how DSE develops his outside shot over the summer and if AW improves. Other than that, I like this lineup.

Why do I have to enlighten you? I don't know. You're the answer man around here.

Give me a team full of Maniscalco's, Roberts', Dunson's, and DSE's, and I'm sure we would win a lot more games...

I just wish the guys who have more talent would see how they work and mimic it.
I was just thinking that SM, DD and DSE are the 3 guys I was most looking forward to see next year..

I agree with you ph. But a lot of other people like the way Warren plays so I have a feeling AW will still be starting this year and next like it or not.

Dse deserves to start, Roberts plays his a-- off so who is not playing up to their capability as coming off the bench may incite him to play better as I was always told you earn your start and your minutes.

                      My thought on that statement...

                      Andrew Warren

When he stood around and looked right into the camera at the ball (most know which play I am talking about), and Indiana State ends up drilling a 3, I could've reached in the tv and slapped him myself.

AW can make certain offensive shots look sooo smooth. It is easy to get caught up in that natural skill...

I am thinking, I will add JE as a 4th player I'm looking forward to seeing play next year. JE knows he needs to out-work others, too.

He is a 6-4 guard, he had better work on his outside shooting and his freethrows.

I am looking forward to seeing the whole team next year, as I hope everyone will be much improved.

I think the one good thing that could come of JE losing his redshirt is him getting some small time and getting to see in live action what he needs to be able to do and what he needs to work on to get there. With a whole offseason of knowing those things and working at them vs. still never seeing the court and not really knowing what he needs to work on, I think will make a big difference for him. I also think he is a better shooter than he has shown, because he doesn't shoot outside consistently enough due to limit minutes to get in a rhythm. He seemed to have a smooth stroke in the high school videos I saw of him.

I think with a whole season under his belt after the injury and now getting to see how things are when he is the focus of defenses and suppose to lead us, will help AW prepare for that role in the offseason as well. Remember he isn't use to being a focus, he was suppose to let offense come to him when he last played, and defer to JC and Ruff for big plays and to be go to guys. I think he will come to understand from a years experience of being "the guy" now what it is he needs to improve and how his playing style might need to change in the offseason in order to fill that role more effectively. I think he will learn how to take control. I think that coupled with him wanting to go out with a bang like any senior will cause him to have a very productive offseason and be a great player next year.

Maybe it is just me being overly optimistic, but I really think I see all the pieces coming together next year and everyone being at their best for a great year! I think SM, AW, and DD will be motivated more than ever and go out with a bang, I think WE, TB, JE, MK, and DSE will all take big stides after their first years with real playing time, and I think even EM and AT can develop into servicable backups that help us a lot next year. Plus I am excited about and hope I get to see JW and JP next year as well!

                              That is the real issue...

Well until I hear someone is leaving beyond a rumor, I'm counting everyone as being here. And even if one or two do leave, I still think this team has enough pieces to still be a very good and deep team.
