Let's just be fair here...there is a bias in the way posts are deleted. For instance Out of Balance's post should be deleted since it does in fact break the rules of attacking other posters. The guy wants to complain about a post being deleted I'd say 50% of the people here have complained or at least asked before about why one of their posts had been deleted. Then he gets flamed and told to leave and not come back. Where's the moderating there? You don't moderate the posts that support you...? That's bias. Moderators, you should be protecting all posters from getting attacked rather than just the ones that support what you do. This is another trend I've been noticing. Just putting it in the suggestion box...take it or leave it.

Haha, well said. I have no problem with how this is monitored, but even if I did... it's not my site. All the credit in the world to DC and tornado for keeping this going the way you do. Hopefully people realize what an amazing resource this is.

As if it could/would be better somewhere else done another way.
Some of us have been around long enough to remember what it was like before this board.... and the only place to go to was at a board where ISU, SIU, and UIUC fans enjoyed hanging out with Bradley fans.... and it was moderated (and still is moderated) by MOSTLY ISU fans.

One thing about the moderating-
Though we do have a few great mods, they don't get paid, they aren't online all the time, and they don't read every post in detail. None of us have time to do that. We try to do the best we can to keep the discussions positive, and not turn into arguments and name-calling. That does happen easily and frequently on mesage boards, even when we have a pretty good group of fans here.
So if anyone feels a post is unfair, offensive, or contrary to any of our rules, simply PM me or any of the moderators, or click the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page, and we'll try to deal with them fairly.
It is almost a certainty that we won't please everyone, all the time. But as someone else said, we do the best we can, and if anyone isn't satisfied with that, they are welcome to post elsewhere or start their own site like we did.
And, please don't bring up moderating issues inside the individual topics!
Ok, stayAfter reading the above, admitting and apologizing of being a little out of control (as I and everyone has at times), I am glad you are staying! I apologize for being a little hasty with you! But I must tell you, and this is coming from one who knows more than most, pick and choose and dance around your statements here or they will be deleted! Your alright friend, just don't let the little things get you and enjoy the avatars as it is part of life and fun! As for your wife not understanding, most don't, including mind! Out of Balance I NEVER meant to imply you were a bad guy haha. I hope you didn't take it that way. It was only making a point that the moderators do get carried away in their support sometimes even if it should be handled fairly like others.
I do like this board for the most part. I don't think you can find one post of mine where I say I don't like this board. Of course I admit I have issues with some things and I'm not exactly ashamed of it and I call it as I see it; such as a post being blatantly altered and then linked to as a quote. Posters deserve to be informed of both sides of things.
Tornado I would've ignored that comment since you are on my ignore list but since someone quoted it I was able to see it. Again, I'm not sure why you are telling us to go away. I was making a constructive point to the board that's all. I used an analogy sometime ago in response to you saying that (since you say it about every other day to someone) it was something to the affect of: just because I didn't vote for Obama doesn't mean I should move to Canada. This is the only board to go to for good Bradley discussion. I admit that and enjoy that. But since that is the truth, it only puts more responsibility on this board to be accepting of all Bradley fans...whether they are glass half full or glass half empty people... It's just been a lot of drawing a line in the sand type of stuff lately, and some people are purposely exposed to look like bad guys. It's not exactly "fair".
Again...this isn't me attacking. Just an observation. And maybe I'm way off base I don't know.
How is your statement any different then that of mind yesterday
