Can someone tell me why Channel 25 is only televising 5 games instead of 10?

Where was this posted, that there would only be 5 games televised?From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-

And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell." -
It was in an article in today's Journal Star. The article also stated that the local PBS station would televise a couple of games and 3 women's games.

First off, the Iowa State game is on ESPN2. The Michigan State game will be on ESPN+ (so a local channel probably could pick it up), there are probably contractual issues with the Chicago Challenge Invitational games, and of course the BracketBuster is contractually owned by ESPN. Given the success of the the team late last year, they will have more games through MVC-TV, so the pool of games to broadcast is pretty limited.Comment
