We don't match up with isu at all. They're bigs will work our bigs all game long, and our guards high enough above isu's guards to make up the difference. No way isu gets passed wsu or uni in the semi's. So if they're on the opposite side of the bracket than us I think we can beat any other team in the tourney."How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? We want no part of ISU in St. Louis (hopefully they'll be the 3 on the other side), and we definitely want to be on UNI's side of the bracket as we match up well with them. Ideally, I'll take anyone else besides ISU over CU in the 4/5 game, Drake, MSU, ISU Blue, anyone of those would be great (much like SIU last year).

I mean what are the odds of their bench guys shooting lights out in 3 games against us?!
Also, I don't think there's any real chance Missouri State can squeeze in to a 5 seed...They have a much more likely chance of playing Thu night than they do at 2:35 Fri.
Right now, one could almost expect Bradley and Creigton to tie at 10-8 and Drake, Missouri State, and Indiana State to tie at 8-10.
I believe that gives Indiana State the 6, Missouri State the 7, and Drake the 8.

We're not even talking about the same player though...
I really don't feel like they have the talent to do it 3 times...
Just look at the game here...They had to shoot lights out and have career games from multiple guys AND they still only won by 5.

I agree with SLB on this question... I didn't see better basketball out of CU when they beat us here... I saw ridiculous shooting-- happens sometimes, I guess. It makes me think we have a shot at them at their place, and especially on a neutral court. I think we match up well with them. I don't like how we match up with isu, WSU, or even MSU.

On a different note, I was wondering if anyone knew if Wichita has ever made it to the finals? I feel like they may have but not recently. Maybe the 80's?

Finally JL had WE front his man instead of playing their back. With his jumping ability it makes it real hard for the opposing team to get the ball inside. I'd expect WE to front Lawson the next time around instead of letting him post up. That is why I believe we should beat them next time we match up! We can do the same against ISU red!"Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

They made it to the final game and lost in 1981 (to Creighton).
