That's a bad loss for Creighton because we are now technically two games behind ISU red. It gives us hope for an upset at their place, but the one thing you could count on for Creighton was their ability to defend their home court. Didn't happen today though, and ISU red finally is starting to play to their potential, so they deserve props for two very tough road wins. We still had no business losing to them here, but they did what they needed to do to take advantage of our ineptness.
Good news for the Valley is they now probably will have a second NIT team in ISU red. However, if anyone takes out UNI in St. Louis (hopefully us as they have had their most trouble against us this year), we get two teams into the Big Dance (if UNI takes care of business down the stretch) and one, possibly two teams into the NIT depending on which second team wins the MVC Tournament.
