The bench was 8 deep... Singh and DSE played big minutes, JE had a few in first half. I think given how short our bench is, Jim trying to rest the starters a bit more in the first half was an interesting choice and maybe a good idea. But I do think depth is our biggest problem to deal with in St Louis.
Definately helped them get the win today. However it is much tougher to play the same rotations in STL when you play on consecutive nights. You need more guys to contribute off the bench.

Down the stretch it was pretty much the starters. All the guys on the postgame show made comments about how much the starters played and the fact that because of the style of play that UNI has that we can afford to do this. I don't know if we could do this against anybody else in the Valley!

Bradley unfortunately stands no chance with that rotation in the Tourney, unless McCain and another bench player steps up for 5-10 minutes of each game.
I'm looking at a projected 3 game lineup similar to Creighton, IL. State and UNI in 3 straight days. No chance Bradley gets by those 3 with this 3 bench player rotation. It may not be those 3 teams but the intensity of the play will be similar. We'll find out in 3 short weeks though.
Bradley's next opponent, Indiana State, only plays 7 people now. Four guys had over 34+ minutes in their last game against Drake. It'll basically be the same guys on the court for both teams on Tuesday night.
There aren't many teams in the Valley built for three games in three days. Creighton generally is and that is why they have had so much success in St. Louis. However, they just aren't that good this year.
Northern Iowa played nine guys against BU. They play at a slow pace and will get a relatively bad team playing their second game in a row as their first opponent. It's a nice advantage that they earned.

Well and that was what I was thinking about. IF BU could run with the shorter bench, they would be better off IMO
