yikes - nice box score... and coverage!
    Thanks, PJS...
Can anyone interpret the 2nd line?

"Especially since it came off one of the Braves’ lowest depths"

is he saying the hard fought loss to ISU was one of BU's "lowest depths"?
I don't see it that way - it was just a tough, narrow loss to a good team that played well and beat us...
then prior to that, BU had GOOD games at Evansville and vs. Drake....so really I see BU has actually had 4 strong games in a row!

One other factor that might have made a difference yesterday in helping Bradley win-- Captain Brave was there!

A home loss to a nearly .500 conference team (at the time), at home, with a double digit lead is not a strong game.

Yesterday was for sure. The ISU was anything but that

ANY loss to ISU qualifies as "lowest depths"...but yes, when you are leading BIG and can't hold it...OUCH.....how low can you go?

I just noticed that out of the 55 shots UNI took a whopping 30 of them were for 3. Is that normal for them? I feel like they aren't that type of team. Whereas Bradley only had 11 3pt attempts (good thing because we shot <20%) out of our 48 shots. Also they out rebounded us 38 to 27. Just looking at the total shot attempts and the rebounding disparity I'd say UNI would've won this game...here's the kicker though, they had 16 turnovers in the game compared to our 8 and of the 30 3pt attempts they only made 6! With that type of 3pt missing I have no idea how they out rebounded us. Just making observations.

We want to encourage our former players to come back and support their former team, don't want them to think "Oh yeah, their the ones telling me to stay on the bench my last few home games."

Outside of this game of basketball, I believe SS a great guy and that's the bigger picture in all this.

                Great game today, fans included.
Most of those moans and groans have never played BB, probably never put a jock on but in PE Most have never had a major injury or one major operation They don't know what is to try to come back after one major injury let along three Most players would of quit No one knows how much mobility SS has lost and the pain he still goes through from them NEVER seen or heard the guy BITCH about what has happen to him or what could of been, if not for all the injuries Sam gives what he can and thats OK with me To all those moaners and groaners, UP YOURS MAN

                  No one saw anything.

                  No one knows anything.

                  Go Bradley!!

                  Go Jim Les!!

I'm not the biggest SS fan, but to hear that fans were groaning at him reeks of the type of malcontents that are constantly booing athletes at professional sporting events! They are kids playing the game, and I think some lose sight of that.

Also too bad to hear that there were still a few fans demanding that the ones in front of them sit down! Glad that most were really into the game, but there's always a few in the crowd that ruin it for the rest. Hopefully the crowd remains into each remaining home game we have left. Winning at Indy St. will help keep the momentum going.
I stood up the last 5 minutes of the game, nobody behind me has ever complained because if they did they would just be ignored.

They weren't ranked though when we played them which is the point I think. When we played teams that were ranked at the time of playing them, we are 2-0, otherwise we are currently 1-1 as Illinois is not ranked anymore.
