In the Pantagraph's coverage, the Redbirds' beat reporter Jim Benson asked Tim Jankovich this question...


"Q: Why doesn??™t Jankovich just bench Osiris Eldridge? He isn??™t helping the
team and is randomly jacking up shots."

Here's Jank's answer in case you wanted to know...

"A: Eldridge is mired in a horrendous shooting slump and yes, he does launch
some ill-advised shots. But he remains, when committed, ISU??™s best perimeter
defender. Eldridge went 3-of-12 against Bradley, but his defense was
outstanding, especially in the second half."

I wish someone would ask JL why he doesn't bench Warren? and play DSE instead at leat he plays hard.
