After last night's game the Hawk's son, Corey, is the all time scoring leader for the state of Arizona. He has signed with Arizona St. I imagine Hersey was in town for the game because his Portland Trailblazers played the Suns the night before. Congratulations Corey. Couldn't happen to a better family.

Had a picture in the Arizona Republic today of Corey hugging his dad. Only disappointing thing about the story was they said Corey broke Henry Bibby's record and mentioned Bibby went to UCLA. They said Hersey was a terrific outside shooter in the NBA but no mention of Bradley. What part of illegal don't you understand?

here's an interesting story about Hersey's son Corey that suggests John Calipari tried to lure Corey out of his verbal to Arizona State..it's also a good interview that mentions his dad......
Corey Hawkins will be a freshman next year..
Corey was apparently recruited by Kentucky's John Calipari AFTER he had committed to Arizona State!
The evidence is this interview in which Corey says...
"Q: Did you ever second-guess your decision?
"I wouldn't say 'second-guess.' (Kentucky) coach (John) Calipari actually showed some interest
and when he's interested it's kind of hard to just ignore it. But I wouldn't say I second-guessed
anything, it was just kind of in the back of my head."
Q: How far did the Calipari interest go?
"I don't know a lot about it because my high school coach shielded me from a lot of it. I guess
he just called, but he didn't want to pursue anything unless I de-committed and I wasn't ready
to give up something so good for something that could possibly not be as good."

Same happened to Drake's Josh Young, whose high school was small, and nobody else offered, and Drake got a steal..
Jordan Prosser hopefully fits this description.
