Here is another update on BU grad Andy Masur--
After doing Loyola Bsketball for the past 5 years, Andy was hired last February as the play-by-play man for the San Diego Padres. He is doing a great job there in his first season.
But because of his basketball experience, he has also been tabbed as the play-by-play voice for the University of San Diego Toreros next fall.---
Here are a couple earlier articles about Andy in his job with the Padres--

Not sure if anyone listens to 670 The Score in Chicago, but they just mentioned that they are going to be interviewing Andy in the next few minutes or so.
Edit: They are interviewing him now.
670 The Score is the Chicago voice of the fan, celebrating more than 30 years of sports talk in this great city. Fans can interact through the Score's platforms on-air, online or for free from any device via the Audacy app. The Score is Chicago's No. 1 and most-listened to sports station. The Score is also the exclusive audio home of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bulls.Once A Brave ... Always A Brave

Andy is in Chicago this weekend with the Padres!
Andy is the play by play announcer for the Padres and is in Chicago this weekend for the Cub series! When with WGN radio it was great to hear him extol his love for the Braves on their sweet sixteen run! I'm sure he'll be on WGN radio sometime over the weekend!
Once a Brave always a Brave!
