this is what BU is missing at the 4/5 spot, it has nothing to do with JL coaching ability. It is a complete shame to read some of the post here nowadays.

I get the feeling that being a BU fan is about praising a player for what you think they can be rather than what they are, i will never call a player out however there are three players on this team who are as soft as butter. thats it period, i played in the valley many moons ago, and these three guys are some of the softest i have ever seen, fragile and not ready yet for primetime, next year, i would expect a lot more agressiveness 10ft and in.

You can expect what you want - but most BU fans have had this expectation for a few years and little has changed.
Maybe they'll surprise me and get tougher next year.

Unfortunately SS will not return next year as the leader of the "tough guys"!

I can tell you that Sommerville, POB, Salley, and Zach Andrews definitely seemed more like men than some of the players on the roster now...I don't know what it is exactly, but they seemed to make these guys look like boys, instead of men.

I agree with you newBUfan. But I don't know if you can make a kid tough.

NBUF, many of us have been waiting for toughness 10' in at BU for some time. Replace bad coaching with apparent inability to get enough recruits who can dominate in the MVC and you have my major frustration with the incumbent. BU has nothing to show for its NCAA run. Other MVC teams seem to be able to get tough inside talent. Poor practice facilities at school hinders recruiting, please explain Drake's freshman center, who appears to be better than BU's post players right now.

Next year, all excuses disappear, and the incumbent's ability to win with the talent he is able to recruit will be on display.

PS, Even when BU had the talent inside, the incumbent couldn't deliver a top 3 MVC finish, or MVC tourney title.
