Buying BU Jerseys

I was wondering why is it we have no jerseys to buy for fans?? I've seen other "mid-major" schools have them. I'm not talking about a cheap looking junk jersey with the word Bradley on it, I'm talking about something that actually looks like what we wear on the court. I don't think they'd have trouble selling them to a lot of people in Peoria and a few around the rest of the state as well. I know I would buy one instantly. You would think some kind of Peoria Nike store or something would sell them, or at least some local Peoria store.

I'd love to buy the new black jersey as well, but I hate the idea of having to wait for a special auction and try to outbid people last minute to get one. Plus with the names on the back I don't know how they will be able to sell those specific ones anyway. I lost out on mine last second last year with the throwbacks. I just want to be able to buy a quality regular jersey, I think the arena would look better if people had those to wear as well, not to mention it would bring extra recognition when people wear them around.

Why don't we have any to buy currently???

The bookstore had a bunch of them a few years back on the heels of the Sweet 16. . .there were a couple on clearance racks as late as last year. Haven't seen them there lately.

If enough people express interest to the bookstore directly, they might consider carrying them again. . .

Were they decent quality and similar to the ones we wore back then?

I live an hour and a half away, so for me I can't just drive down to the bookstore, except maybe on Saturdays. And I have never seen anything online, so I never made the trip. I've always asked at Campus Town and stuff when I'm in Peoria and they never know of any kind of Bradley jersey. I was hoping they could be in some kind of store like that for every fan not just on campus, but even if I could get that I'd be happy.

They were nice. . .Majestic. They were red and had the #33 for the Hawk and the lettering/numbering were pressed, not embroidered-so replica not authentic.

Ya, the ones that use to be online were #33 for Hawk as well, but they were always only youth. I would have gotten one had I known, well maybe I'll call the bookstore and suggest they make jerseys in the style of this year's team, which I like very much. I like to see current players as well, as much as I love Hersey, I'd love to get a #5 while Sammy is here or #32 in the future or whoever is the big player or players on the team in the future. I doubt they would do black though, probably just red, but at least that is something. Maybe I'll wait and see if they auction these black ones first though. Either way I think it'd be cool to have jerseys every year not just good years.

A - you can buy commercially made jerseys....lots of people and kids around the arena have them...ask at some of the local sports stores...or check squirrel's post

B - or you can buy the authentic jerseys...generally they are put up for sale at one of the preseason events (the auction or gala)...or are sold through an online bidding auction...
I suggest call the SID or AD and see if there are plans for more sales or auctions, or check ebay occasionally.

Thanks guys, I have never seen any that were not youth, but apparently I missed some. I'll check this stuff out. Do you know any specific sports stores that have them, because I have never seen any at the stores I've been too?

Because right now we do a craptastic job of marketing ourselves like a legitimate school.

I've see n the majestic ones in the bookstore, but I think several of us are looking for better or even the real deal. I also lost out last minute on two of the auction jerseys last year, so I know that frustration. I would easily do a "buy it now" option for the real thing. I do have a couple of the BU soccer jerseys from a few years back, but now my son has outgrown them. If anyone is interested, pm me.

Maybe next year, a few of us can get in on the real order and tag along with their purchase somehow???

Well I don't know how you would go about doing it, but if you figure it out be sure to let me know, I'm all for anything that would get me a jersey. I'll definitely join you in the request.
