At least 8 years in a row of not being above .500 14 games into the conference season certainly seems reason enough to complain to me...unless your expectations are very low. However, since I recall all the posts slamming our predicted 6th place finish this season, and I recall being scoffed at when I stated WSU would be the surprise team (instead of SIU) and would finish ahead of us, I do not believe this is the case.

SEE...this isn't a bad year! We are doing the same as always! Nothing bad to see here.
Is this what BU is now?? .500 right in the meaty part of the curve? When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

I guess its the players who have gotten us to 7-7 for 5 straight years.

This issue is going to go round-and-round forever.
You can blame everything and everyone. The question you have to ask is what is the one change you can make that will illicit the greatest change?

People are concentrating on the coach and I can see the reasoning for this because of what is happening this year. Since the end of the Albeck years, BU has pretty much had a mediocre record with some splashes of success. Why is that? How committed is the Administration to the sports program?
Rodes, Van Arsdale, Abegg, Brazil, and Broski all acted in ways that only handicapped the Athletic Department in different ways, and had only passing interest in the growth and success of athletics as a key part of Bradley.
