Bradley verbal commits

I was just hoping someone could bring me up to speed as I can't follow too closely, I see on the front page we got a verbal from Alaska, do we have any others for the class of 07?

Aside from Will Egolf, Jeremy Fears is already at Bradley, but is considered part of this year's class, though he won't be eligible until next season.

DeAaron Williams (F) and Sam Maniscalco (PG--son of one of Dick Versace's first key recruits) are the other commits to BU so far. There are a couple bigs and wing players BU is focusing on, and can be read about in other threads.

There will be what should be high impact players joining the team next year.

I particularly like the fact that if Ruffin graduates on time, Sam will get a full year of backup experience but also get to play against a solid PG in practice for a year.

Bradley has commitments from three other players along with Will Egolf (the high school kid from Alaska) next year. They also have two more scholarship to offer for a total of six.

Deaarron Williams is at ICC after some academic difficulties at Wisconsin. Jeremy Fears is enrolled at BU but has to sit out since he transferred from Ohio with a pit stop at Iowa St. Sam Maniscalco is a point guard entering his senior year at a Catholic high school up in Chicagoland.

It sounds like the coahcing staff has some visitors coming this weekend to the hilltop to fill out the rest of the recruiting class.

thanks ... I knew we were in on DeAaron Williams a while ago but wasn't sure how that concluded, he could be a very impact player.

And welcome to the forum, al. Check out the recruiting board for names of a bunch of players Bradley has been linked with, some of whom could become Braves. Jim Les has 2 more scholarships to give to players for the class of 2007, and we expect at least 1 and maybe both to go to big kids.
