Great job by SM. Hopefully fully healthy and ready for the stretch run.

I am surprised, however, SM has garnered this award more often than TB this year.

Hopefully, TB will bounce back in his junior and senior years like JC did! Having TB win multiple player of the week awards, IMHO, would be more valuable to BU than our guards winning the award.

That's awesome, Sammy! Time for a big statement-- two big games in wins against isWHO and UNI and a third consecutive POY.

well just a few games ago against isu he had 9 points and more turnovers than assists. i dont know who was guarding him---maybe lloyd phillips---i would say he at least neutralized him. we have to have sammy to play well to win. lets home for a better game against isu than he has the first time against them.

with that being said, sammy is the best point guard in the conference.no one close.

Oops you're right. Well let's make it 3 in 4 weeks then.

All this talk of SM as POY I bet he would take MVC Tourney champs over even being selected 1st team MVC! I prefer we keep talking about what the team can do. There is no I in team and that I was what was getting this team in trouble for a spell.

That's the beauty of being a fan. We can talk about whatever we want and it won't affect the outcome of the game. It's all fun, I know the team doesn't care about individual awards, but as a fan it's something to talk about as I sit in my room and watch snow pile up.

If he bounces back from this season I can't imagine how far that bounce would go
