  • The snow has started

I thought the snow was predicted to start later tonight, but it's snowing hard where I am, just a little east of Peoria.
How much will we get, and how badly will it affect the attendance at tomorrow's game?

I hope the Redbirds don't get stuck in a ditch in Congerville!

King O would strap the bus on his back and carry it to Peoria if he needed to.

No he would try to but then he would fail and refuse help from any of his teammates while he kept on trying to force it to work.

By the way it is snowing pretty good on campus here but nothing is really sticking yet.

It was snowing lightly around 7 this morning when I was out and about, stopped a bit, and now is coming down quite hard.

I bet dollars to donuts that attendance won't be affected very much at all. The brunt of the storm looks like it will hit overnight and by gametime tomorrow, roads should be just fine. Or maybe that is all just wishful thinking...

Better to start now and be done with it by afternoon tomorrow that way everything can be cleaned up and passable for tomorrow night, any tickets left?

My biggest concern is the whole "Significant blowing and drifting" idea... And we all know how well Peoria cleans roads

Here's to hoping for a snow day for the students. From previous experiences a snow day would really lead to a rockin student section tuesday night.

Fingers are indeed crossed for a snow day so that preparations for the game can begin early.

Right now it's a wet snow and won't be drifting any, but it could change overnight as the temps drop.

If it is a snow day, what is the likelyhood of the game being postponed?

Seriously? I'd say there is virtually zero chance the game will be delayed.

I suppose if it was the storm of the century with 3 feet of snow it might be postponed, but that's not going to happen.

Or he would walk to Par-A-Dice and play CRAPS like he did last time BU played ISU (last week he was spotted at the boat around midnight rolling the bones).

I was just curious because over winter break they declared a snow day and everything on campus was closed. I believe the women still played a game at ICC that night even though ICC was closed too, but I wasn't sure what they'd do since the men play down at Carver.
