Call me crazy, but we could realistically win out. We finish with 4 of 6 at home, with the 2 road games being against a depleted Indiana State team, and at Creighton in the finale. Now, none of the 4 home games are easy, and we've been less than stellar at home this year, but I would rather play these games at Carver than on the road. I'm not saying we're going to win out; the odds are certainly against it. But looking at the schedule at the beginning of the season, I thought we would have a good chance to build some real momentum heading into the Valley tournament. I still believe that.

Lets take care of business Tues night and just focus on one game at a time, we are a good team when we pass the ball multiple times and when A.Warren plays like he did today, There is not one defender that can stop T.Brown as he has a complete game and S.Maniscalco has become one of the best point guards in the league, I also think that C.Roberts would be more of a scorer if he didn"t have to use up so much energy guarding the opposing teams best player, we just need for Will to not foul so much as he needs to stay in the game at least 25 minutes.

Especially if we get past these next 2, it looks very winnable the rest of the way. Now that means nothing until we actually win them, but it should be a strong finish if we are a good team. I don't think there is anyway our team is looking that far ahead though, the next 2 games are too huge to look past. We play our rival in a revenge game at home, and then a team that after winning today will still be ranked when they come in! I am so pumped for these 2 games, and I hope the Carver crowd is too!

It doesn't matter if fans "look ahead" just the team. I am confident the ONLY thing on thier collective minds is Tuesday and ISU.
If the fans want to look at next game or the last game it makes NO difference.....

If we continue to shoot 30/48 from the field, I like our chances to win out. When this team shows up to play, they can beat any team in the conference. Running the rest of the conference games and/or winning in St. Louis would not require a miracle.

3-3 at best.

After very close wins against Bradley, WSU and SIU, Northern Iowa is due for a let down or two. I say we beat UNI in a close one next Saturday. That is after we beat ISU on Tuesday night!
I just hope there's not too much snow on Tuesday to keep the fans away.
