Definitely the best game they have played all season. Well, 2nd best game besides the Illinois win LOL. Granted it was against the last place team in the Valley, but it was a road game. Just a few keys below...

-No 5 minute slump at beginning of 2nd half.
-Warren hit several long range shots and really drove the ball to the lane, which he hadn't been doing lately.
-Had a chance to take the lead to 30 at 1 point in 2nd half.
-SM with another scorching shooting day at 5-7.
-Several players got some much needed rest from the bench.

Only problems I saw during the game was Egolf foul troubles continue and still to many turnovers. Turnovers wasn't a big problem until we played at IL. State. Need to figure that out for Tuesday.

Nice to see us actually finish a game instead of just running the clock down and taking a bad shot for the last 10 minutes or so.......the way we blew a couple of those games at home!

Congratulations Andrew Warren on a very nice game versus Evansville.

Consistancy when it occurs is a beautiful thing.

I have to say that Will has been getting the short end of the stick on many of his foul calls as of late. I hope it all evens out soon.

He was the #5 leading scorer in the conference coming into today. I guess the "right direction" would be a top 3 finish at the end of the season.

Sticks might have played OK today and he was at least "active" on the floor showing some great hustle but.....16 minutes and ZERO rebounds will not cut it. C'mon AT...go get the ball off the glass!

nice to see the return of Warren today and good minutes from sticks! Too many turnovers and more bogus charge calls from bad valley refs, but what was most encouraging was how the braves came out in the 2nd half! Might be the 1st time all year we didn't let up other than home mo st game. two huge home games coming up! Gotta have em to start talking about friday night possibilities

This is an absurd statement IMO.
If you believe it to be true, please list even 10 or 20 of these big men who would be quality D1 centers. I have looked at lists of available juco big men, and there are very few. And if you consider the number of them that Bradley actually has a chance of signing, it's far less.

Game story and links to highlight clips-
EVANSVILLE, Ind. ? Four Braves finished in double figures as Bradley (12-11 overall, 7-6 MVC) earned its second Missouri Valley Conference series sweep of the season with an 83-63 victory over Evansville (6-17 overall, 0-13 MVC) at Roberts Stadium Saturday afternoon.

                        Box score-

Great game by Bradley, and very enjoyable to watch.
My only other comment is that Coach Simmons appeared to keep Colt Ryan in the game until the final minute just to try to get him as many points as he could get. He played 35 minutes in this blowout win by Bradley, when no other Evansville player played more than 27. Bradley coach Jim Les had freshmen and walkons on the floor the last couple minutes, and still Simmons left Ryan out there. He is obviously trying to make sure the kid gets the Freshman of the Year award, because that's all that's left of this season for him. I thought it was a dumb move. Just my opinion.

Would like more bench points, but I think almost as important in today's game is the number of minutes the bench was able to play. Our starters have logged big minutes all year, and any extra rest we can get them for the stretch run will give us that much better of a chance to be successful.

BTW - Was glad to see JL give a mention in the write-up to AT and his minutes. I hope it's not a one-time thing. AT can give us a defensive dimension we haven't had in a while.

This was a great win for Bradley in that I thought the game would be a lot closer. Nice to see that we beat up on a bad team even in their place. If we play with this much energy the rest of the year, we will be hard to beat. Let's go out and get our home court advantage back!

I hope we see a lot more of AT in games to come. During the pre-game, I noticed how supportive AT was of the the other players, which quite frankly, surprised me given how under-utilized the coach has played him. I was glad to see he was maintaining a good team attitude.

He needs some more weight and he needs to play stronger. Weight room and attitude adjustment and this kid could score at will in the MVC. If our guards ever learn how to pass on a pick and roll, he will will score 10 points a game on a bad night. I hope JL starts playing him more.

I'll second that comment, but you know how much some people like hyperbole.
